Rhonda Makes Charlie’s the Place to Be!
Rhonda at Charlie’s is hands down the best bartender ever! She always goes above and beyond to make sure every customer feels welcome and taken care of. Her service, attention to detail, and personality make the experience unforgettable. If you’re at Charlie’s, do yourself a favor and sit at Rhonda’s bar—you won’t regret it!

Just don't...
To start things off, I'm a local and am very familiar with the area. With that being said, my expectations were high. Unfortunately, they were not met. The resort is still stuck in the 80's, with outdated decor. Chipped paint, scuff marks everywhere you look. Dirty Tile through out. Upon checking in, my friend and I noticed how unusually humid it was in the hotel lobby, like the AC wasn't even on. We thought it was a mishap, but it was the same way once we hit our floor. The room was dusty, and the linen smelled old and musty. The Spa and Courtside Steakhouse looked abandoned, as the grounds around them looked terrible. Charley's was serving the Tarpon House menu, which we couldn't understand. Tarpon House, though the food was very good, was hot and humid...again, like the a/c wasn't even on. Columbia Sussex seems to have run this place into the ground. Staff, overall, was nice. We won't be back. The Westin in Cape Coral and JW Marriott are better options.

Ask for Dolores
Dolores was AMAZING!!!! Professional, and gave a very therapeutic and relaxing massage. The spa is newly renovated and beautiful.

Great Experience at Charlie’s Cabanna Bar
I visited Charlie’s Cabana Bar on Friday afternoon with a large group and had a great experience thanks to our bartender Jackie. She was very friendly, and really knew the drink menu. Our drinks came out quickly and correctly. The bar itself had a great vibe, but the service definitely stood out. It makes such a difference when your server actually seems happy to be there and takes care of you without rushing. Highly recommend stopping by and asking for Jackie if you can!
