We stayed at the Kimpton Harper on Nov 1, 2025 to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. When we arrived around 5:15 pm, the lobby was bustling and we learned the 24th floor/Refinery 714 was closed for a private event—right where we’d planned to watch sunset with appetizers and champagne. Not ideal… and then Wayne (Hotel Manager) stepped in. Wayne immediately recognized what was happening, personally escorted us to check-in, owned the hiccups, and promised to make it right. In under an hour he and the team not only secured us an outstanding room (1910) — which was immaculate and beautifully designed—but also created a private rooftop celebration that exceeded anything we could have imagined. The food was fabulous: a linen-draped table for two with champagne on ice and exquisite hors d’oeuvres (including the gluten-free items I’d requested earlier in the week). Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and thoughtful — kudos to Chef Irene for the execution. Service from Jessie (server) and Zak (bartender) was warm, precise, and perfectly timed, with seamless coordination by Stephen (concierge), Chris (restaurant manager), and Joe (setup). We reached the roof just in time to watch the 6:38 pm sunset—an unforgettable moment. Beyond the heroics, the hotel itself is gorgeous and spotless: a chic, restored space with stylish common areas, crisp linens, gleaming elevators and hallways, and a room that felt freshly prepared top to bottom. It’s the kind of place you notice is clean without even looking for it. Bottom line: 5/5. The Harper team didn’t just fix a problem; they created a lifelong memory with phenomenal food, genuine hospitality, and a property that’s as clean as it is beautiful. If you’re planning a special occasion in Fort Worth, communicate your plans—the team here will take stunning care of you. Shout-outs: Wayne (Hotel Manager), Jessie (Server), Stephen (Concierge), Chris (Restaurant Manager), Zak (Bartender), Chef Irene (Culinary), and Joe (Setup).

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It’s right in downtown so it’s super convenient to the various sights around. The room was clean and comfortable and service is really good. We did have a snafu with the valet service when we were leaving though. They had been so great up to that point but we waited at least 45 minutes for our car which we knew was weird. We checked a few times about it and were told we were in line but the last time we checked they realized our car keys were still there. They were apologetic and got it taken care of right away. I did ask the valet if we could have a refund and he said he would see what he can do. I called the hotel later on just to check on that and explain the situation and was refunded the valet portion. Due to the way they handled the situation which is pretty rare, I would return to the hotel and am thankful they took care of things right away.

First time in Fort Worth. What a great city - my first time here. Didn’t know where to stay so did some research and ended up at the Kimpton. Check in is on the top floor - friendly efficient staff. I got a great deal with American Express - included a room upgrade, free breakfast and a huge room credit. I struggled to spend all the allowance! I ate in both dining options and they were both really nice and good value (even though Amex picked up the tab!) Lovely room with a comfortable bed and nice shower. I would love to return to Fort Worth and if I do I would definitely be back at the Kimpton. Highly recommend this excellent property.

We booked this hotel last minute not realizing what an amazing experience we were about to have. You check in on the 24th floor with an incredible view of the city of fort Worth and it only goes up from there happy hour drinks for free and a luxury suite or absolutely excellent. The only thing that can make that better is the person checking you in. His name was Stefan he was knowledgeable engaged and interested in what he was doing. So often it seems that attendance at hotels view the guest as a roadblock to their evening of peace. Not stefan. He was amazing. He coached us on how to get to the stockyards was extremely warm. He told his history about the hotel and made it so fun! You're going to love this place!
