We had a fantastic dining experience at Amber Restaurant, and a huge part of that was thanks to Jose. From the moment we arrived, Jose made us feel so welcome with his warm, friendly personality and exceptional professionalism. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and made some wonderful recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. Throughout the evening, it was amazing to see how hard he worked. He was constantly clearing tables, taking orders, and making sure every guest was looked after, all with such ease, efficiency, and a genuine smile. Despite how busy the restaurant was, Jose remained friendly, attentive, and personable with everyone. It was obvious that Jose takes immense pride in his work and truly enjoys what he does. He is a real credit to the hotel and an asset to the team at Amber Restaurant. We feel very grateful that he was our server and helped make our evening so memorable. Thank you, Jose—you were outstanding, and we hope to see you again on our next visit!

Had a fantastic stay in this hotel great staff and food was beautiful sometimes staying in a hotel with weddings happening they usually get president but not here everyone is treated the same. We stayed In one of the suites and the room was beautiful with a lovely welcome on the table. Highly recommended

Awful experience, my third visit to this resort. Will never visit again. Had a nice arrival, and nice meal at the resort before heading to a concert in cork city with my wife. Left cork city straight after the concert to return to the hotel and enjoy a few drinks. They said they would serve me but not my wife who was not even present as she had gone to the hotel to charge her phone. Bar man claimed she had too much to drink even though he had never even spoken to her. Think the barman just did not want to make a cocktail. We were staying in the hotel and always quiet and respectful. Never will visit this resort again.

Fota Island resort A beautiful hotel inside and out. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful gardens and pathways excellently maintained and full of color. The hotel itself is personally I felt one of the best if not the best I've stayed in Ireland. From the moment we were greeted to the moment we left the staff were very courteous and friendly. Our bags were delivered to our rooms before we even finished check-in and the rooms themselves were fabulous large spacious and excellently maintained. It's a hotel I have no hesitation in recommending and I hope to return in the not to distant future to experience more of this hotel and resort.
