Lodges are great for kids, food in bar really lovely. Spa REALLY POOR The "thermal suite" was stressful and uncomfortable. The hydro pool was freezing cold, the jets didn't work in parts of the pool and other jets were so forceful they were painful and had such force I had to grip onto the bars on the side of the pool! No built in steps so literally hanging on to the bars at the side of the pool and 'survive the jets ". Really very uncomfortable and unpleasant. The outdoor sauna was tiny and at 5ft 2 I couldn't sit up straight! As for the treatment. Well, the greatest waste of money I have ever spent. I had an hour massage costing €155 and it was quite frankly abysmal. The lightest touch, didn't even lift my arm to massage it and honestly felt like the therapist was poorly trained, lazy and just going through the motions. I'm beginning to feel that Irish spa hotels know that guests will only be there once and not return so there's no obligation to uphold a great reputation. The treatments are grossly over priced and very very poor. I will return to the hotel as it's a great base for a family in cork. The pool, playground, sports facilities and kids cinema is great but I will never go the spa again nor recommend it.

Did the Me & You couples spa package and had such a lovely day! We started off with lunch which was delicious - chicken fajita bowl and an array of cake slices. We then did the mud bath (which also includes an outdoor sauna), followed by a massage and facial. In between treatments, we were put into the relaxation room, which was lovely. We finished all our treatments with some light refreshments. All of the staff were really welcoming and friendly, from the receptionist and the servers, to the masseuses. Everywhere was so clean too!! Really enjoyed this package and will definitely be back. I feel so refreshed!!

Staff and facilities were fantastic. A real five star stay. My young family loved it. The staff catered for our families needs , nothing was an issue.

Excellent hotel with beautiful grounds and friendly helpful staff. Just disappointed that the hair styling irons i left in the room wasn't handed into lost & found.
