5 star resort with 5 star service
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Fota Island Resort was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The resort itself is beautiful, luxurious, and incredibly relaxing, but what truly made the experience stand out was the outstanding service from the staff. A special thank you to Rebecca in Reservations, who was extremely efficient, professional, and accommodating throughout the booking process. She made everything seamless and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect before we even arrived. We also want to recognise Lloyd in the Leisure Centre, who was equally fantastic. His warm, friendly attitude and attention to detail made our experience extra special. He was incredibly helpful and made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued during our visit. The level of customer service at Fota Island Resort is second to none, and thanks to staff members like Rebecca and Lloyd, we will definitely be returning. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a first-class stay in Cork!

From the minute we arrived we knew we were in for a great stay. The staff were fantastic from reception, bar, restaurant and spa. Michael greeted us with a great reception and it stayed at that high standard throughout. The hotel is so well looked after with housekeeping, mainteance and the groundsmen. Everyone was so polite and looked to take pride in their roles. An absolute credit to everyone working at this hotel. The food was amazing both at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Could not fault any dish we had over the 3 days. The grounds were amazing with trails to be walked and as a person that spends more time in the garden than I should, to see the prestine surrounding grounds and golf course being maintained was a treat for me to see. My fiancee had spa treatmemt and was floating for the rest of the day. An absolute gem of a hotel. Thank you to all the staff, we will definitely be back.

A great and peaceful weekend!
Our stay has been excellent from start to end. The staff is particularly nice and available. We have been well taken care of! The room was perfect: spacious, zen and clean. Regarding the location, we were able to go there using public transportation, and the tranquility on the island is real compared to the noise of the city. The park is worth mentioning as well. From the fairy path to the golf, it's been delightful to walk outside. In addition, the spa is a must-go to get a full experience and be super relaxed. Would definitely go there again!

Very nice place surrounded by greenery, classy restaurant and delicious food, really big lodges and equipped with everything, fantastic staff

Dining and breakfast experience was not 5 star quality. Far from.
There is lots of good to say about the resort, but the restaurant/dining experience is nothing more than expensive bar food. Breakfast was a 'different' experience when the table in front of us was being used to stack dirty dishes in view of a visiting manager that took no action.
