Sofitel Frankfurt Opera

I returned after staying here last year and it is consistent and a great stay. The location is great with many restaurants and the opera house just outside the property. The start of a promenade is also just outside and around the corner with shops and places to eat and the location of various festivals if you’re lucky to be there during one. Last year I was there when the wine festival was going. The property is well kept. Service is up to expectations and I loved the beautifully handwritten note and welcome amenity from the manager. Nice touch! I didn’t have breakfast here so can’t comment but last time I did get a massage there and it was nice- small spa area but adequate. This is my go-to when in Frankfurt!

We had an excellent stay at the Sofitel Frankfurt Opera and would happily return. The location is outstanding, right beside the Opera House and within easy walking distance of many of Frankfurt's main attractions, shops, and restaurants. It felt like the perfect base for exploring the city. When we arrived, our room was not quite ready, but the staff handled the situation flawlessly. We left our luggage and headed out to explore, and when we returned, we were delighted to find that our bags had already been taken up to our room. It was a thoughtful touch that reflected the hotel's high level of service. As an Accor gold member, we were fortunate to receive a room upgrade, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself feels genuinely luxurious, with elegant décor, beautifully maintained facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere throughout. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and attentive, making us feel valued from the moment we arrived. The standout feature for us was the exceptionally comfortable bed. We slept incredibly well, and the room provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring Frankfurt. The only reason I am not giving a completely flawless review is a small security concern. When we returned to collect our key card after check-in, we were issued the card without being asked for identification. Whilst this may seem minor, in a hotel of this calibre, verifying a guest's identity before providing room access is an important security measure and one that I would expect to be followed consistently. That aside, our stay was excellent overall. Sofitel Frankfurt Opera delivers outstanding comfort, luxury, and service in a prime location, and we would gladly stay here again.

The staff at the reception lack care .. they treat u like ur not a guest .. they are really unconsidered , it is sad cause it’s a beautiful hotel and a beautiful location..I really regret staying there .

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights at this beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived we were well looked after and our suite was exceptional. Good view from the room, spacious and great décor with a very comfortable bed. The ladies at reception were friendly and attentive. The concierge, George, was friendly, excellent and catered for our needs. The bar, Lili’s, is excellent and the hotel is also in a great location to walk to the main sights, old town, the opera house and numerous bars and restaurants.

We stayed for 2 nights in a Suite at this hotel. The suite was modern, spacious, soundproof, comfortable, had opening windows, great AC and faced a park. The breakfast was high quality, calm and enjoyable. The staff are professional and lovely.
