Nonsuch Bay

We stayed in Villa 1511 in Non-such bay Residences as a family two adults two children, hosted by Natasha Jospeh - first thing to say is that Natasha is absolutely the most SUPER of SUPER hosts and fantastic ! We were welcomed with a very generous fruit basket and helpful supplies in the fridge to get us going. Nothing is too much trouble for Natasha and she’s always ready to help, charming, friendly and polite offering the best of the famous ‘Antiguan welcome’. The Nonsuch villas are generally very well designed with top class materials and villa 1511 is especially nice as it’s been recently and tastefully restored to a high standard . The Villa boasts wrap around balconies, a generous open plan living-room opening to kitchen-diner with tall ceilings and two large bedroom on either side side with their own shower rooms with a jacuzzi bath off the master bedroom. Villa 1511 has fantastic, sweeping views over Nonsuch Bay and one of two big pools directly in front which are never crowded and easy, quick access to the picturesque beach below. The Villa has just been beautifully restored, every thing is fresh and clean -, the beds are very comfortable, pillows and linens allow for fantastic night’s sleep, the kitchens is well equipped and stocked with staples, salt, pepper sugar, coffee tea, spices, for cooking, etc. There is good quality air con units in the bedrooms with ceiling fans and the famous Antiguan trade winds keeping temperatures comfortable in communal areas. The layout is comfortable and furniture is new and well positioned. Natasha organised a lovely trip to gorgeous Green island with boat captain Lesley who also has access to small sailing boats if needed . Natasha is Super responsive and ready to help and made our stay extra special - so thank you! Nonsuch bay is in a largely unspoilt part of the island in a safe and beautiful gated development set in lovely grounds . Like much of this side of the island it’s affected by Sargassum seaweed which is kept at bay by the tenacious and dedicated beach-man who cleans it daily and a large boom which straddles the beach area but there’s always a comfortable place to swim and sunbathe with the large pools on the grounds. As other reviews have said it’s useful to buy groceries on the way if possible as there is no shop on site, nearest village has a small convenience store. The only on-sight restaurant, Breeze, is not open everyday with odd opening hours and a limited menu and slightly shirty staff. Ideally, you have a car to get to around and visit other activities on this side of the island including stunning Half Moon Bay with its almost pre-historic views & cool beach bar, exciting Stingray city and historic Betty’s Hope, an early plantations. Villa 1511 in Nonsuch residences is perfect place to escape with friends and family, and unwind in peace and enjoy surrounding nature.

We stayed at the Residences in an apartment over the Easter Holidays, a family of four (kids 8 & 6). We loved our time here. We picked the resort as it was in the quieter part of the island, as this is what we like. We had a car and drove out most days to explore, had no issues with pot holes as we just took our time. The furthest we went was over to Darkwood Beach and that was 50mins. But lots of other places closer. We used Covent Garden supermarket to buy food which was fine. The resort itself is well kept, choice of two pools, which we pretty much had to ourselves every time we used. The beach is also perfect, nice and sandy, a kayak to use for free if you want, lots of beds and some sea creatures for the kids to find. Yes, there is seaweed, we knew this before we arrived, it's at all of the beaches in the area, but there are patches of sea that is seaweed free and it didn't bother us. The apartment (1721) was ideal for us, nice large spaces, everything you could need in the kitchen and we all loved the balconies for the views. Shout out to Natasha who I believe hosts a few apartments in the resort, if she is your host you will be well looked after, super helpful and friendly. Overall a superb trip to Non Such, we would highly recommend and looking to book a return trip!

This villa was amazing, my host Natasha greeted us and had a welcome basket along with a walk through to ensure we get a good look at the place! She responds immediately everytime and even sent recommendations for us! I loved it so much and the hospitality was amazing along with the beautiful island. I will be returning!

Great and large apartment. Spotlessly clean and with all amenities and a great view from the veranda. The pools and grounds were lovely and exceptionally well maintained. Natasha thx host could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Although Non Such is in the quieter / less built up side of the island (which we liked because it was so peaceful) there are lots of good restaurants and beaches very close by. We will definitely try to return

Natasha was absolutely a fabulous host. The apartment was absolutely beautiful clean exactly what we wanted overlooking the sea. The place is lovely and quiet we rented a car through Natasha very easy can’t wait to come back😀 the whole island has beautiful beaches so go and explore
