Dinner at the 1875 Steakhouse was perfection! We went our first night and ordered the pork chops which were amazing. So amazing that we went back and ordered the same meal the following night. We chose to eat at the bar and a special thanks to the bar server Tommi who was charming and attention and made our dining experience very special.

The maid service at this resort is putrid. We left at 9:30am and came back at 4;30 pm with no service. The day before was no service either. Too pricey and not many amenities. Would not come back.

The hotel was very historic but it is clean and not run down at all. The bed was comfortable and room was clean. Staff were friendly. I attended a conference there and those facilities are very nice. There is a good variety of restaurants. They have a bowling alley and nice shops. Overall I would recommend this hotel if staying in French Lick due to its cleanliness, historical and beautiful decor and friendly staff.

The location was ideal for me, in a small town where I could pick up essentials I had forgotten. The decorations were beautiful and added to an already gorgeous hotel. My room was comfortable and clean, and I found the price a fair value for my money. The noise level wasn't't bad at all; I could still sleep even though people were in the halls talking sometimes. The service was good and I enjoyed some of the amenities such as the pool and the arcade. I very much enjoyed my visit there and will definitely return.

We and our friends travel with dogs. The resort staff were always attentive to our needs as pet owners. We had a wonderful time for New Years. The hotel was impressive with history. The room was very clean and we had an end room which made it easy to get the dogs outside. A must to see for a bucket list checklist. Thank you staff for a wonderful time.
