Best Hotel Stay during the Holidays

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

This was by far the best hotel experience I have ever had during the holidays. The hotel itself is gorgeous and with the added decor, it was amazing. Also, each day was filled with activities for both kids and adults! We all had such a wonderful time! This is a definite must-stay during the holidays! We travelled from North Carolina and will be coming back!!

Very Disappointing experience for OMNI/PGA 'title'

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

No acknowledgement as Loyalty member, did not receive benefits associated with my stay, no assistance with securing dinner reservations, spa appointment booked weeks in advance was rescheduled for much later time with no notification, spa service underwelming/did not meet expectations.

Amazing Night of Wedding Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

My now-husband and I had an amazing experience here! We stayed here the night after our wedding and felt so welcomed. The front desk upgraded us to a suite, provided us with our wine of choice, and had chocolates waiting for us in our room upon our arrival. The space was absolutely perfect! I can’t think of anything that would’ve made it better. Furthermore, the staff went above and beyond when we left a few very sentimental wedding items in the closet accidentally. They contacted us right away and ensured they were returned properly. We’d highly recommend this resort! From the beautiful lobby, to the kind valets, to the delicious drinks at the bar, everything was incredible!

Not worth it

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

While the resort grounds overall are nice, and the golf courses are beautiful, albeit expensive, it is by no means worth the money, and don't expect to have a peaceful or relaxing stay if you are at all sensitive to noise. Rooms are expensive, they don't feel particularly comfortable (more of a higher end Holiday Inn feel), the fridge and heating are incredibly loud in the room, they keep the music outside on all night long so if you have a premium room that faces the golf course you can hear it, they make you pay $30 to SELF park, they do have a $45 valet option, however at peak times there is so much traffic you can't get in and out of the front of the hotel, their food was good, not great (although we didn't eat at Trick Rider), they have a $45 resort fee and have no idea what it covers (??), there are about 8 different taxes added onto your bill, although to be fair they seem to be local and state taxes, and overall it was just not worth the money and was overall a mediocre stay.
