Best in Class

World class facilities with best in class staff. Can't say enough good things about the entire establishment. It is a wonderful venue and I go out of my way to frequent it whenever I have call to be in the greater Dallas area.

Ruined Birthday

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Our recent stay at this hotel, which was intended to be a special celebration for my wife’s 40th birthday, was a complete disappointment from start to finish. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of our expectations and turned what should have been a memorable occasion into a horrible one. I hope sharing these details will help improve future guest experiences. From the outset, we encountered issues. We had reserved and paid for an early check-in, but upon arrival, our room was not ready, which delayed the start of our celebration. It was never addressed until I mentioned when we finally were given a room at 5pm. Additionally, several in-room amenities that we had confirmed and paid for in advance were missing or forgotten, further detracting from our stay. Never mentioned until I brought it up, it was like the staff cared less. The most concerning part of our experience occurred during check-out. While settling the bill, the manager proceeded to lecture me about the charges in front of other guests, despite my repeated requests to simply complete the process and allow us to leave. This interaction felt condescending and unprofessional, adding unnecessary stress to an already frustrating visit. We chose your hotel based on its reputation for excellent service, and we were truly disappointed by the complete lapse of quality, service and professionalism. I wouldn't recommend this property

AMAZING FRIENDLINESS AND SERVICE

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My wife and I stayed her for our anniversary. In addition, last weekend, we treated our extended family, including grandkids, to the Sunday Buffet & Brunch at The Apron. We have stayed at many very nice -- excellent places. Our favorite is The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs however, we now have an extremely close second favorite -- Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa. I do not have the time to talk about all the wonderful things about this place however, I do want to stress that what stand out the most are the attitude of the staff and their level of service. Below is my usual review format: Valet/First Impression: The hotel presents a nice first impression. I was a little disappointed with the lack of luggage dollies. There were none. The valet people apologized and said this would be taken care of. (Side note, after our stay, I received two emails, one from a manager of the property and one from the head valet; both apologizing for the little mix up.) To me, that is very impressive and shows the level of service and caring for patrons that this staff has. Reception area/Front Desk: Very nice and friendly. No rush. They made you feel that you were the only person checking in. Hallways: Very clean and wide. Room: We had a King one bedroom suite. It was a corner suite and the view was amazing. We had informed the hotel that it was our anniversary. I didn't expect to see what I saw when we went into the bedroom area. The staff had sprinkled artificial rose petals around the top of the bed with balloons that spelt: Happy Anniversary. I enjoyed sitting outside (extremely cold and rainy weather limited my time on the patio) on the patio which went the width of the suite (about 30 -- 40 feet) Workout Facility: Very nice, clean and well stocked with equipment. Restaurants: We ate a couple meals at The Apron. I highly suggest eating breakfast there. They have a top-notch buffet which includes, among other entries, delicious smoked salmon! I enjoyed my omelette, the fresh fruit and many other items. We had one of our dinners at the Ryder Cup Grille which did not let us know. During our weekend stay, we felt that we were far away from the craziness of the DFW area. I can't say enough great things about this place except to say that, we will definitely be staying here again!! Suggestions: I highly recommend staying on the 2nd floor (which is where the lobby and other stores are located). I really enjoyed the heavy, locked doors that kept the rooms separated from the public areas on the 2nd floor. BTW: Our first night there, I was so excited that I couldn't sleep. So, I went to the lobby and played some pool on the well-maintained pool table. It was nice and relaxing (just like everything else at this place).

Lovely hotel, nice rooms . There for a conference . Staff and food was really good . Little bit of a long walk to the conference rooms , but all indoors . When I declined housekeeping I got a message that they would send something to a local food bank in lieu of that . Lovely idea

Everyone who loves golf needs to experience the PGA Omni Frisco

I was lucky enough to spend a week working during a corporate meeting on this property. From front to back this is a gem of an experience. The front lobby was welcoming but also has a deceptive privacy to it if you wanted to have a chat with a friend. Joe at the front desk started me off with a pleasant check in and even offered to make sure I was registered for Omni Rewards. I got to my room opened the door and it was spotless and well designed. Shout out to the wallpaper. Something really cool about it. Ill let you come and see for yourself. No complaints on room or housekeeping. The staff was amazing all around the property but I want to send a special shout out to a few outstanding members of the team. Antonio and Austin at the Lobby Bar were the first 2 people to enhance my experience. Both were friendly and willing to chat even when bar was hopping. I never waited for a drink as they all kept a sharp eye on the guests and kept everyone happy. Apron may be the best casual restaurant I have ever eaten in at a hotel. Everything I tried(Classic Cheeseburger, Cluckin Sandwich, Turkey Club, and the Caesar salad were all top notch. My friends also raved about everything they ordered. I didn't hear about one meal that wasn't delicious. We spent most nights with Chris aka Bobby as our bartender and he was great. He was engaging and funny as well as on top of all of our orders and special requests. Just before leaving the property I had one last lunch there and had the pleasure of Jessica serving. She was so friendly and nice and was great to chat to about travel while I sat alone having lunch. I can't say enough good things about the Omni Frisco. I already have plans with a few buddies to figure out when we can all get together and experiece the property as a true golfing guest and not as a business meeting attendee.
