This is the place!

Excellent hotel and service. Location walking distance to harbour and city centre. Great staff, always ready to help with a smile. Heated outdoor sea water pools. Live music entertainment is ongoing in the evenings at the bottom floor of the hotel bar but no problem with loud noice and usually for free to join. Highly recommended place to stay for a week on this beautiful island!

We had an excellent stay for a week. Staff were very gracious and professional. Facilities are great; well maintained and exceptionally clean. There is a wonderful old-worldly charm to the hotel in a very good way. Food was delicious. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great service and a traditionally classy vacation in a beautiful setting. Funchal and Madeira are exceptional.

Lovely hotel, nice clean room and professional service. We enjoyed the morning breakfast which was included in our stay. This hotel has amazing views of the ocean and it's not unusual to see dolphins swimming and playing from the pool area. We would stay there again.

Muito bom em todos os aspectos. Atendimento impecável. Pequeno almoço 5 estrelas, recepção atenciosa e prestável, hotel muito cuidado a nível de limpeza e decoração, piscina agradável e espaços externos amplos e bem cuidados. Definitivamente estadia a repetir .
