Another day in paradise
Great location, superb views, super facilities. Wonderful staff and lovely clean rooms. Everyone was very friendly and super helpful. Do not hesitate to book activities... Great fun.

A Room With Beautiful View!
A truly stunning hotel! Some may consider the rooms to be old fashioned but we loved the more homely style. The furnishing are beautiful and high quality. Sea view was amazing. The room was well equipped with very comfortable beds and excellent service from hotel staff. We had booked half board and the food choice and quality was exceptional. Staff were very attentive and professional and made us feel very welcome. Pool area is beautifully kept and again has very helpful staff. Finding a sunbed was never an issue. Direct access to the sea is a real bonus. The views from the hotel are stunning and the location allows easy access to Funchal. Thank you to all at the Royal Savoy for making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable!

Decent location by the sea , rooms a bit over priced. Staff good , outside good. Tends to attract older clientele
Good central location by the sea. Good outdoor space and sauna and steam room handy. Gym ok, could be better. Breakfast excellent. Lunch menu average. Rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade for true suites for a five star in my opinion. Balcony a bit small. Only one sun lounger space and cannot hardly move it. A two bedroom would be better but more expensive and not many available.

Sixth visit and already looking forward to next year
Generally upholds its 5 star standards with a service level from front and back of house staff that is exceptional. Food quality and presentation can be comparable to the best restaurants in Funchal. Facilities around the pools are well managed and staff are visible to give assistance to those who require it.

Perfect two weeks
We had another glorious 2 weeks at the Royal Savoy. Staff are simple the best and go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The food in the Armada is devine, definitely 5 stars. The staff Miguel, Luis, Roberto, Joao, Pedro and all of the other staff members just make the whole experience perfect. The whole atmosphere is just what you need for a relaxing break away being looked after to the highest standard. Thank you so much to everyone at The Roysl Savoy
