Savoy Palace

We booked into a high floor superior room fo4 a long weekend break here. We have stayed in Funchal before but this hotel is by far the best. From the huge downstairs pool are where there are more then enough sun loungers for everyone to the infinity pool on the roof it is a great place to chill. There are lots of bars and restaurants and the staff are genuinely really friendly. Will definitely come back

This hotel is amazing. Our 2 bed family room was one of the best rooms I’ve stayed in for our family of 4. There were 3 bathrooms, which was a big plus, and the areas were spacious and luxurious. The staff went over and above to help me make our son’s birthday special.

It doesn’t disappoint beautiful rooms, excellent service and in a perfect location. This our 3rd visit and we had a lovely relaxing break will definitely be back again ! Breakfasts are excellent, everything is the best quality and replenished regularly, there is a show cooking area where they prepare omelette or eggs to order. The roof pool area and bar is lovely and tranquil so you can completely relax whilst overlooking Funchal .

The hotel is one of the few claiming to be 5 star that actually are ! Walking in to the beautiful reception to register this was obviously a different level.

Great hotel, wonderful facilities and staff! Stellar breakfast. Loved that you could access the other hotel right in the ocean and swim there. The pools were so clean and wonderful. Did not want to leave
