A wonderful and relaxing vacation with a luxurious, spacious, and spotless room, stunning beach views
We had an amazing stay at the hotel and a truly memorable vacation. The room was spacious, luxurious, and super clean, making our stay very comfortable. The beach view was absolutely stunning and added so much to the overall experience. From the moment we arrived the hotel staff welcomed us in a very professional and warm manner. Throughout our stay everyone was polite, kind, and extremely helpful which made us feel very well taken care of. The food was delicious, and we really enjoyed the dining experience. As a small suggestion to the management it would be great to see more variety and a bigger spread in the future. Special thanks to Lashika, Shauri, and Drusell for helping organize our vacation perfectly. Their support and attention to detail made everything seamless. Thank you for a wonderful experience we look forward to visiting again!

Clearly one of the best hotels on Sri Lanka’s south coast.
We were bowled over by the fortress from the moment we arrived. They were busy in reception but we were warmly welcomed and soon shown to our very comfortable room. The room was well equipped and had a great view over the pool to the sea. The restaurant was superb. The staff throughout the Hotel were very pleasant and helpful. We wish we had booked a longer stay.we had stayed here some years ago but now The Fortress is improved and outstanding.

Exceptional!
We stayed here for a week in December for a family wedding and it was amazing. Rooms very spacious, food truly incredible, service spot on, resort is gorgeous and clean, views stunning! Would definitely visit again :-))

This Hotel is Stunning!! The staff are so attentive and the food is unbelievable!! The yoga classes held by Rukman in the hotel garden overlooking the sea were so relaxing and so much fun! 10/10 stay.

Lovely situation, slow service.
Lovely room, excellent cleaning staff. Very helpful reception. Helpful pool staff. Bar and food service very slow. Poached eggs at breakfast served cold.
