Dealt with Oscar and Claudio in the bar very pleasant and chatty and kind very responsible just disappointed we could not tip them directly as there service was top notch and would like to see them able to receive the tips they deserve

Oscar and claudio behind the bar absolutely exceptional service great crack behind the bar and I honestly feel sorry about the tipping policy emailed twice it’s a disgrace for the service that they are doing absolute gents

Ricardo in the restaurant was beyond accommodating! We were leaving for a tour and needed coffee to go! Not only did he serve us quickly he gave us some pastries for the trip! The rooms are large and super comfy and the shower was the best hotel shower I have ever used!

I was with a group of around 25 people, celebrating a special Anniversary. We paid €90 each for a 3 course dinner. Naturally, for that price, I expected a beautiful experience. Boy, was I , and others, disappointed. At the first reception area there was no thought given to those of us who did not drink alcohol, and that theme followed throughout the night. Each course was served so sporadically, that had those served first waited for everyone to receive a serving, their own food would definitely have been stone cold. Without exaggeration, there was 15 minutes between first and last servings. Water was poured for us all initially and then the wine arrived. At no time were those of us who did not take wine asked if we would like a soft drink instead. Once each course was eventually served, we did not see a waiter again, and we had to resort to self service of both water and wine. What should have been an enjoyable dining experience turned out to be anything but. Some of us were going to meet up again for breakfast the next morning but decided against it after the disappointment of the night. The only positive about the night was the company. Wonderful friendships were rekindled and new memories made but I know that we will never, ever, recommend the G Hotel to anyone. That €90 could have been so much better spent, especially in today's climate. I would seriously recommend a review of the 5 star status.

An Exceptional Experience at The G Hotel — Made Even More Special by the People As regular world travelers and self-confessed night owls, we have experienced many beautiful hotels and met countless wonderful people along the way. But every once in a while, a person comes along who leaves a truly lasting impression. First, I want to say that every member of the staff we encountered during our stay was wonderful. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, professional, and kind. We especially appreciated the night staff, who made our late evenings feel comfortable, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming. As night owls, that meant a great deal to us. But for me, one person truly stood out — Marlis. From the moment we arrived, and throughout each evening of our stay, Marlis was exceptional. She was professional, knowledgeable, attentive, kind, courteous, and genuinely caring. More importantly, she made us feel seen and welcomed every time we passed the front desk. We often found ourselves enjoying the hotel late into the evening, and Marlis was always there with a warm smile, helpful information, and such wonderful energy. I personally love making people smile and helping others feel comfortable, and I loved that Marlis naturally gave that same warmth right back to me. Our little moments of humor and kindness became part of what made our evenings so enjoyable. There is something very special about someone who doesn’t simply perform their job, but brings their heart and soul to it. Marlis did exactly that. I know that when I think back on our stay, Marlis will be the first person I remember — and The G Hotel will be the second. And honestly, that is exactly how it should be. Thank you to the entire team for your kindness and care, and especially to the wonderful night staff for making our evenings so enjoyable. And Marlis, thank you for your beautiful spirit, your attentiveness, your quick response to our needs, and for making us feel so welcome. Your presence at the front desk each evening was genuinely comforting, and your kindness will stay with me long after we have left. The G Hotel is beautiful, but it is people like Marlis and the wonderful staff who make a hotel truly unforgettable. My heart is happy because of her beautiful soul. ❤️ Five stars, without hesitation.
