Grootbos is so special
Once again Grootbos did not disappoint. We had a wonderful few days being spoiled by everyone. It is such a magical place and all the staff are excellent. The food is top quality too.

Unreal! World class and incredibly special!
A truly unforgettable weekend at Grootbos! I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jan and the entire team for such an extraordinary experience. Bringing my mother was pure magic; she was like a child in a candy store among the fynbos, completely captivated by every single flower, leaf, and insect. Visiting the Chelsea Flower Show exhibit was the absolute cherry on top; she was over the moon! Jan has created something truly special here, but what elevates it even further is the world-class team. A huge thank you to Tanya, Mandy, Neville, Busi, Amahle, Natasha, and our exceptional guide, Simone. Every single person went above and beyond. We haven't stopped raving about our stay since we left!

A piece of fynbos magic in the lap of luxury!
The most magical place where one can rest and recharge while going on wonderful excursions and enjoying delicious food in gorgeous surroundings. There is honestly nothing like it! The staff are next level-well trained and friendly. We come back and back-it's like home from home! Thank you so much!

Spring break
This was our fourth visit and we shall come again. One is waited on hand and foot by cheerful, capable staff, fed excellent food and accommodated very comfortably among ancient milkwoods and beautiful flora.

Don't Miss an Opportunity to Visit Grootbos
Our trip to South Africa was a Safari bucket-list. Thank goodness our travel agent connected us with Exeter Travel who in turn strongly suggested that there was much more to see in SA than just a safari. When they described Grootbos the aspect Flora and Fauna was intriguing, but we would have never expected the extent of the unique plant-life and coastal highlights on this portion of the trip. From nature-viewing to wonderful accommodations and fantastic activities, this is a can't miss destination, especially if this is a once-in-a-lifetime visit to SA, don't pass on the opportunity to experience a different side of what SA has to offer!

Recently stayed at Grootbos and loved every minute of it. The suites and lodge are wonderful, and the food is superb. We enjoyed all of the staff, and our sight seeing excursions were excellent. I wish we had had a couple more days there.
