Overall a very good experience. A beautiful resort but kind of in the middle of nowhere. We arrived at POU Amtrak station and the resort arranged a car for us. Food and service were great. I believe it would help if front desk staff had offered a tour of the property on arrival as we did not discover bar/food truck at pool area until our last day.

Chose this location to propose to my fiancé as it was absolutely gorgeous and for the price, I figured they wouldn’t miss a beat. Unfortunately it did not meet expectations for me. I paid an extra $250 to have a bouquet of flowers delivered to the room after I proposed. I was charged for them but they were never delivered. I figured having a bouquet of flowers was easy enough for them to do considering they are “wildflower farms.” Guess I was wrong. The price of food and drink on the property was criminally high for some things that were just okay. You pay less to stay at an all inclusive resort and get more for your money. They do offer complimentary snacks in your room though. That was a nice touch, although they don’t tell you that you’ll have to share with staff, because our cleaning lady helped herself to some and then left the evidence behind. All in all, unless you have a lot of money to spend, I wouldn’t go here. Yes, It was absolutely gorgeous property and the staff was extremely friendly. I felt like royalty here, but you can get much more for your money elsewhere.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the team takes great pride in creating a warm, welcoming, and seamless experience. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, and the level of service was outstanding throughout. The staff was consistently professional, attentive, and genuinely kind—going above and beyond at every turn to ensure our group felt comfortable and well taken care of. Their hospitality made a lasting impression and played a huge role in the success of our program.
