A huge thank you to Andy, our waiter at the Geneva Intercontinental, for making our breakfast with my family and I a joyful experience. He was very attentive, efficient and friendly. We truly felt accommodated and welcomed with his presence. Thank you Andy and to the hotel for providing this remarkable service and for your hospitality.

Very beautiful hotel. Staff is wonderful and could not be more accommodating. Pool is amazing and there are plenty of chairs and drink service. It’s a short walk to a few restaurants and grocery store which is right around the corner. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

This Intercontinental Geneva is definitely the best place to stay in Geneva! The people that work there made me and my wife feel like a United Nations delegate as they rolled out the red carpet for us the whole time we were staying there. -- The location is absolutely great and an easy five minute walk, all downhill, to the United Nations and Broken Chair. The local Bus #5 will pick you up and deliver you to all the action at Lake Geneva and in Old Town, about a ten minute ride. (Geneva is a fairly small city.) Bus #5 will also bring you right back to the hotel and it comes by every ten minutes. - The concierge staff is very helpful and well informed and go out of the way to assist you with your day trips in and around Geneva. - The food is great and the breakfast buffet is the best I have ever seen. There are also several wonderful restaurants within a five minute walk from the hotel. -- The rooms are great and roomy. Be sure to ask for a room with a view of the lake and Jet deaux. -- By the way, lots of U.S. presidents, foreign dignitaries and world celebrities have stayed here. The top floor (#18) is the presidential suite and many of the most important world leaders have stayed there. The hotel was originally built in 1964 but has many updates and renovations over the years. It is now very modern and state of the art. The outdoor swimming pool is spectacular. This place is well worth the money.

We were pleased that our room was ready early prior to our check in time and access was granted once the room was available for us. The Concierge Service was Awesome, which is something I have experienced at a different international Intercontinental Hotel. Our Concierge David booked our bus tickets to Annecy, France from his desk and we did not have to do it ourselves. He also printed our free Geneva bus passes to travel within the city and the bus stop is very nearby. A different concierge recommended that we visit Montreux, a charming village, that had the annual Jazz Festival ongoing (fabulous experience). He also gave us options for taking the train to Interlaken. In essence, the concierge services made our visit very enjoyable. Finally, there was plenty of options for breakfast and it was good. There is a large outdoor pool with a lot of seating if you want that rest day.

Amazing level of service and attention - what a great place to go as a family with young kids! Our 3-year-old had so much fun at the kids playroom and the pool, and she was delighted with the little surprises she got in the room. Room itself was lovely, and what a view!
