Mandarin Oriental, Geneva

We stayed here 2 nights. What can I say about it? Old school classic. Excellent room service, excellent food, excellent staff, comfy bed and pillows. However with all the fun newer hotels popping up around the globe, i feel this MO is slightly outdated. The aircon cannot be controlled and the room remains hot, the bathroom has 1 light, no way of controlling zones, loo paper wasnt changed thot often and we ran out. Shower gel remained empty the entire weekend. However this is a great hotel and will always come recommended.

Mandarin is one of my favorite hotel brands in the world. Whenever I travel, Mandarin Oriental is always at the top of my list. The atmosphere at the Geneva property is elegant, luxurious, and very welcoming. The service was excellent, and the room was comfortable and well maintained. However, compared to other Mandarin Oriental hotels I have stayed at, such as Madrid and Istanbul, the rooms in Geneva feel a bit dated and could benefit from renovation and modernization. Overall, I had a lovely stay and would still highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service, beautiful location, and refined atmosphere.

Average hotel average staff breakfast average but worse of all is the air conditioning, so here is how it works you turn it down as low as you want and it comes on but the problem comes next because the heating comes on when it gets to the temperature you want and you end up sleeping in a sauna

From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like we were in the right hands. We were warmly welcomed and upgraded to a breathtaking room with views to the river and the old town, that honestly had everything we could have wished for. Dinner at Sachi was one of the best meals we've had in a long time. Every single course was delicious and the whole experience felt really special. Breakfast was just as delicious. But what really made this stay unforgettable was the staff. Attentive, genuinely warm, always one step ahead without ever making you feel watched. You could tell they actually cared. When we left, our car was waiting at the door pointed in exactly the right direction, that says it all. We came for one night and left wishing we'd booked more. We will definitely be back.

This is an old school beautiful European hotel. What makes the hotel special is that the service is uniformly excellent across the board. Rooms are small but well equipped. Food is good. Great location.
