The city’s first hotel, and still the first choice of sophisticated travellers and world statesmen, has been a landmark on Lake Geneva since 1834. Now, as Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues, it blends a revitalized sense of history with comfort, relaxation and warm, genuine personal service.

Coming to the Four Seasons Geneva both as a couple and with my family has been a special vacation for us for several summers now. The service I have received here has been the best in the world (I don’t say that lightly) and with the recent room renovation, we have already booked a return for next summer. The reason I’m writing this review is to share the incredibly good news of the recent arrival of Food & Beverage Director, Sebastian Boudin. How they were able to steal this star from the George V and the FS Hong Kong 3* Caprice, I do not know. To say that everything about Food & Beverage, already long a strong suit of the Four Seasons Geneva, has been elevated by Sebastian’s arrival cannot be overstated. He cares so deeply, has the relationships and knowledge, such that each meal is a rare delight and your joy is the joy of the team. Go once and return again and again for the incredible Japanese, French, and Italian cuisine. You are in the best hands with Sebastian and the Four Seasons Geneva family. Till next summer and with true gratitude! The Hartmans

A true five star experience over and over again at FS Geneve. We were always greeted by name by all front of the house staff and they are all super kind and attentive. Kenza was amazing and going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed on both check in occasions. We stayed only for a day on two occasions and whenever we are in Geneve this is our stop always. Concierge were super helpful and kind and always organize best drivers. Breakfast staff are all amazing as well as food options and drinks. Cant wait to return

The hotel is well located in the city center. The room we booked (superior room/king size bed for 2 nights) was not very pleasant for a hotel of this standard. As usual with Four seasons the staff is supposed to make you feel special and this was not really the case this time. For example, as we returned a bottle of champagne as we don't drink alcohol, we were offered to tiny chocolate tarts of the size an amuse bouche. With respect to food, there is also room for improvement here. The Italian restaurant is a one Michelin star restaurant and the setting is very nice. That being said, you can't charge 40 francs for 3 small asparagus as a starter. This is not acceptable. We also went to the bar the following day and ordered a ceasar salad. A huge amount of salad but unfortunately only a handful of slices of chicken. All the above may be seen as details, but they are not when you pay CHF 1600/night. On a more positive note, the breakfast is outstanding.

An unforgettable 5 star experience at the Four Seasons in Genève. The perfect blend of historic elegance, luxurious comfort, and impeccable, warm service made every moment special. Simply the best place to stay in the city. Highly recommended!

Very unprofessional & terrible experience at Salon Dufour! First of all, when we entered the hotel, no one opened the door for us. I thought this was a 5 star hotel? We were there for afternoon tea at precisely 3pm & there was nothing on the menu but snacks & drinks. We waited for someone to take our order, but after 15 minutes I had to go to reception & ask for someone to help us. Finally a server came & took our orders & it took a while to get our drinks. The server put our tea cups down in a messy way & not in front of each person. Then when the tea pots came the server poured the tea & it dripped on both the teapot & the tea cup saucers. He never apologized or changed our tea cups. I wholly expect Four Seasons to have impeccable service as they are world-renowned & the atmosphere & service to be perfection. Instead this was a waste of time & money. I will never return.
