Disappointing

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Very disappointing. Didn’t get our room back nail 5:30. Pool closed all day. We were locked out of our room from the inside. Had to Wait an additional 20 minutes for another room. Snooty. No concern for the inconvenience. No comps. We are Bonvoy members. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Excellent hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We really enjoyed our experience at this hotel. The staff was very attentive, courteous and professional. I asked for an ice pack for my knee and in a matter of minutes, someone was at my door with it. The room was comfortable. Everything was in working order. The pool was very pleasant. The only thing I didn't understand and didn't ask about was that many of the lounge chairs would have a notice on them that they were taken, but a lot more were taken than there were people at the pool. Not fair to the people at the pool that they can't have a lounge chair that's not being used. I still say our experience was excellent. We had a corner junior suite with a Lake view.

Solid choice in Geneva

This was a good hotel. Good service, good food. Parts of the hotel did have a slightly “dated” vibe, it seems like this hotel’s heyday was probably in the early 2000s. But overall we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good with lots of varies choices.

The worst Marriott property we’ve found.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

The worst Luxury Collection hotel you will find. I do not write these words lightly. A longtime Marriott member and this was one of the worst properties in my lifetime. The rooms are triple conjoining, with attached doors on both sides. The shower in the bathtub is barely 6’ tall so difficult to use. The pool advertised open in May was covered with a very ugly tarp, ruining most rooms views. By 8:30pm, our beds were left unprepared (photo included). Housekeeping entered the room without knocking while we were in it. The bellmen at the front entrance seemed uninterested in guests. And the entrance to the building is a staircase with 2 wooden ramps for your luggage to roll up, which looked like a construction zone but I am told is their standard. Lobby restrooms were completely unkept Do not stay here.
