A landmark hotel in Scotland’s biggest, most vibrant city. Kimpton Blythswood Square has been a prestigious address since the early 19th century. Overlooking a private garden square, the hotel's Georgian townhouses were originally home to wealthy merchants and were later turned into the club headquarters for The Royal Scottish Automobile Club. Today, the Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel has been spruced up for the 21st century, with a multi-million pound refurbishment that has refreshed all of the existing guest rooms and suites with an elegant new look and the launch of the 1,900 sq. feet two-bedroom Penthouse Suite with its own private balcony, media room and dining area. The Hotel also hosts a 10,000 sq. ft. Spa facility with 9 luxury treatment rooms, a thermal suite, 2 relaxation pools, and a lounge and café area.

As always Kara and Ivo took fabulous care of me during my stay. Spa was lush and particularly quiet which is always a bonus. My guest and I thoroughly enjoyed cooked breakfast in bed as well. Thanks again for another wonderful stay, already looking at dates for my next stay. Would not go anywhere else in Glasgow.

Fantastic experience, from the staff to the spa. Very relaxing and enjoyable time. Highly recommend spa! Food quality maybe not in line with the rest of the hotel but perhaps just a personal preference. Staff always went out there way from check in to bar and spa 5 star :)

Location: Quiet street. Not much going on near it. Have to walk uphill so good luck if you've got bags. Bedroom: Standard fare. Bathroom: No bidet. Shower: Gaps in the frame led to a lot of leaking water. Pros: Breakfast was pretty tasty. Some staff were very engaging and helpful. Cons: Nothing special.

We stayed in this beautiful hotel last night, and booked the premium room on booking.com - I emailed them ahead of time and advised it was our anniversary and when we got to hotel, we where greeted by the lovely Chloe who informed us that had got upgraded to the garden view room. Wow, this as just beautiful! We also got given a lovely card and chocolates. We enjoyed the cocktail hour and the free wine/Prosecco. It was a lovely touch. We didn't get to enjoy the spa as there was a few sore heads in the morning, but I was there a few weeks ago and it was utterly stunning. We got breakfast delivered to the room the next day and it was really lovely. Can't recommend this hotel enough. We didn't have one negative experience and every encounter with the staff was really lovely. The only negative comment I had was that the blinds in the bathroom were incredibly yellow & dirty (room 20). Apart from that it was immaculate and the bed was super comfortable.

Disappointed .asked for a champagne cocktail .then stopped the bar tender pouring Prosecco into the cognac . after adding sugar syrup as they had no proper brown sugar cubes ..my husband was then was hit by a £27 bill for it ..please be careful as I feel a bit scammed ... it' should be a normal cocktail for a 5 star hotel to have this on their menu .... this is London savoy prices where the champagne cocktail is £27 ... i have just spoken to f&b manager who has informed me that they take their pricing from Dakota in Glasgow ... just so everyone is aware we have stayed their on numerous occasions . And this is not Dakota Glasgow .. far from it . I was then told it was Scottish licensing laws... I would like to see where that calculation comes from as I live in Scotland ... I would like to know where in Glasgow thinks they are good enough to charge this amount of money for a cocktail .... that is London charges for a similar cocktail I will take this further with a group general manager ... marcello.ventisei ... as I have what appears to be no resolution ... will update
