A landmark hotel in Scotland’s biggest, most vibrant city. Kimpton Blythswood Square has been a prestigious address since the early 19th century. Overlooking a private garden square, the hotel's Georgian townhouses were originally home to wealthy merchants and were later turned into the club headquarters for The Royal Scottish Automobile Club. Today, the Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel has been spruced up for the 21st century, with a multi-million pound refurbishment that has refreshed all of the existing guest rooms and suites with an elegant new look and the launch of the 1,900 sq. feet two-bedroom Penthouse Suite with its own private balcony, media room and dining area. The Hotel also hosts a 10,000 sq. ft. Spa facility with 9 luxury treatment rooms, a thermal suite, 2 relaxation pools, and a lounge and café area.

Brilliant hotel, great building, location and excellent service The concierge & housekeeping were outstanding. We’d been travelling for a while so we needed some support & David the concierge & Godwin from housekeeping made sure we were truly taken care of. I really miss this type of service nowadays- it’s great to see it’s still available

We stayed here after looking for a place on our drive from Fort William to Southern England. It was a wonderful place to stop. The reception staff are first class and helpful. Social hour was a nice suprise and the best bit was the fabulous spa facilities. Hotel guests can use this between 5-8 pm and 7.30-9.30 ish. But that’s long enough to fully experience the spa and unwind. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was first class. The waiter really knew his stuff and was very engaging, his recommendations from the menu were spot on. Thank you. Breakfast was probably the best I’ve ever had and the waiter (with all the badges) was very friendly and engaging and clearly loves his job. I’d highly recommend this hotel//Spa to anyone considering staying here.

Lovely luxurious night away. The hotel is stunning internally and retains many heritage features whilst being modernised as needed. Our room in the older part which id recommend as it was large and spacious with high ceilings, and incredibly comfortable. Large marble bathroom also. Lots of little extras and well equipped. The only gripe was that the USB ports didn’t work and the sockets were a bit limited to charge devices, use kettle etc. The thermal spa experience has been refurbished since we last stayed and is incredible - well worth staying for this alone! We dined in the restaurant and food the food a good quality and service friendly. Breakfast was also brilliant!

My daughter treated me to a stay here for a birthday treat, and what a treat! From being met at the door, receptionist, the food, drinks at the bar, expertly mixed by Joshua, the Spa everything was 5 Stars will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff.

Visited Blythswood Square for the spa and afternoon tea and overall it was a great experience. The spa is the standout — really high-end with excellent facilities and a proper luxury feel throughout. Everything is clean, well maintained and very well run, and it’s a great place to relax and unwind. We also had afternoon tea. The food was very good, but the setting itself felt fairly average compared to the rest of the hotel. It didn’t quite match the same level as the spa experience, but still enjoyable overall. Staff were friendly and professional throughout. Superb spa and well worth a visit — afternoon tea a nice addition, even if the setting doesn’t quite match the rest.
