Nestled on 1,000 acres of undulating Irish countryside, dotted with ancient woodlands and glittering lakes, Castle Leslie Estate is one of the last great Irish estates still in the hands of its founding family. The Leslie Family arrived in Ireland in the 16th Century and bought the Estate at that time. Today, this Irish estate is led and managed by Brian Baldwin and Sammy Leslie and guarded by The Leslie Foundation. Sammy considers herself to be a guardian of the land, and her overwhelming desire is to protect the Estate for future generations.

My Husband surprised me with a 2 night stay at Castle Leslie Estate. What an amazing 2days we had, we arrived and were incredibly lucky to get the jigsaw suite, absolutely beautiful, then my husband surprised me to afternoon tea which was absolutely delicious, next we had a fantastic couples full body massage in the spa followed by hot tub followed by an beautiful dinner that night in Connor bar. Day 2 , breakfast was lovely, so much choice the standard of food is phenomenal, next I had a surprise tour of the Estate in the horse and carriage, followed by a beautiful picnic made up by the restaurant which we ate looking out at the lake. In the evening we had dinner in snaffles restaurant wow it completely surpassed our expectations the food was to die for , the effort that the chefs put into all there dishes is amazing, every mouthful was delicious. The staff were faultless , the standard of customer satisfaction they strive to give is beyond review, nothing was too much, they really strive to ensure your stay is amazing, relaxing and memorable. The grounds of the Estate are exceptionally beautiful we enjoyed our walks exploring there walking paths around the lakes and seeing all the wildlife. The castle and its grounds are delightful. The personal touches we received were so special, upon arrival in the room there was a birthday card a birthday balloon and cupcakes and chocolates then in snaffles restaurant they brought my dessert out with a candle and sang happy birthday and I had a complimentary glass of prosecco, those wee extras make the experience personal. Overall the staff, the food, the grounds, and experience was amazing, a fantastic memory for my 40th birthday. I would highly recommend to everyone that Castle Leslie Estate is a perfect location for a few days away.

An equestrian vacation at Castle Leslie is an experience you won’t want to miss! The trainers met each rider at his/her ability level with instruction that advanced skill regardless if rider was a beginner or an expert. Their horses are the best ever with calm temperaments yet forward motion. Meals were exquisitely prepared using fresh herbs from the area. Vacationing at Castle Leslie is a great way to meet other equestrian enthusiasts! Everyone is either riding or talking about riding or sharing stories about their beloved equine partners all day long!

My trip was absolutely magical and more than I could have ever asked for. From start to finish, everything and everyone was amazing. The instructors and team at the equestrian center were on-point, understanding and encouraging at the same time. The horses were my favorite (and Mercy) I took home in my heart. Accommodations were 5-star and food out of this world. Big thank you to, Collette, Gemma, Caroline and Karen for all of your patience with my daily riding needs. Antonia took the best care of me each morning for my breakfast and daily latte or cappuccino. II am of Irish heritage and I will definitely be a repeat guest to Castle Leslie and visiting throughout Ireland. If you are ever in Virginia... it will be my turn to host.

I would like to say a HUGE thank you to you and all your staff for what my friend, Jenny and I have called one of the best 24 hours of our lives!!! Jenny and I have been friends for almost 30 years, we met at horse-riding lessons and ended up living together all through college. We were so thrilled to win the prize at the RDS horse show last year, we had literally just been talking about booking this type of holiday when we saw your stand. We arrived at your beautiful hotel having travelled across the country to avoid getting stuck on motorways with the fuel protests. Your staff were so good to change our hack from Thursday to Friday as we were afraid we would not make it with the delays. The grounds and lodge are so beautiful, our room was fabulous, so spacious with chocolates and muffins! We then had gorgeous cocktails and nibbles in the bar. The decor is amazing, it is like some Disneyland hotel for horsey people. We then had a walk around, past the castle and past both lakes. We then visited the stables. We were very impressed. After that it was a quick change and then dinner. We had a beautiful 5 course dinner, not just saying it, but honestly one of my best meals ever and a bottle of wine (heaven). The next morning, we were a little sluggish but we had a great breakfast (pancakes and bacon, yum!) and then the bit we were most excited about, the horseriding! We met our horse and went for a beautiful hack, including lots of trots and canter. It was really amazing. Before we headed home we had time for a quick wander around the castle, it was set up for a wedding, it is out of a fairy tail! Your staff were wonderful, they met our every need. Any time we met one they said hello. Orla was our horse riding instructor and she was great fun! I am sorry I did not get the names of more staff to mention. The reception staff were so helpful and answered all our requests. The bar staff were very attentive. There was a lady who served us dinner, I think her name was Sophie. She is from Spain. She was very kind. All the wait staff looked after us so well, as did the breakfast staff, providing us with multiple pots of tea. All of the stable staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We are already planning our return (I am determined to do the cross country course). We had a wonderful time, I cannot fault the experience and I am still dreaming about the little pink and yellow bon bons at reception. Until next time........ Thank you for an unforgettable 24 hours.

Today, we visited Castle Leslie and had a beautiful lunch. We were greeted promptly by friendly staff, and the order was taken quickly. The food came quickly and was really amazing, fresh, and well presented. After lunch, we walked in the expansive, well-kept grounds. It was a fantastic place to visit and wander around In.
