Castle Leslie Estate

We flew in from the US to a wedding and it was the most amazing experience, and hands down the best weekend we’ve had in a while. Everyone was insanely nice and made us feel right at home. Emma was an absolute rockstar and was at every turn, I’m not sure there’s a position she can’t do and fully expect her to be managing the property in the near future!

Beautiful location and rooms. Great atmosphere. Lovely to see they are making such efforts to be sustainable. We stayed in the castle one night and another night in the lodge. The horse riding was excellent - top notch horses, great teachers (thanks for the tips Karen Connolly) and world class cross country. The castle bedroom was amazing, really authentic, the mattress felt as old than the castle and needs to be changed though- hard to sleep. The relaxing rooms in the castle are incredible - better than Ballyfin or Ashford castle - much more exclusive and a third of the cost. The lodge bedroom was really gorgeous and super comfortable. The restaurant atmosphere was great but food overly fussing and not that tasty. We didn’t feel great after either of the meals. Great to see wild garlic on the menu- they should have more from the garden. Big shout out to waitress Leah who told us all about local musician Jamie duffy who was playing through tour the estate. Local knowledge made it feel special. Overall an amazing experience

We are three friends since our early teens, married within 8 days of each other, and celebrating our 50th wedding anniversaries. Let's go somewhere special? Beautiful grounds and a friendly welcome. Fabulous decor, with a huge range of pictures and tasteful ornaments and furniture. Every turn presented a luxurious atmosphere. The rooms were quiet and elegant with few corners or straight lines, fine decor and all standard features cleverly and discretely presented. The bars and restaurant were cosy and inviting. Try the Castle Leslie stout! The food was outstanding. A breakfast choice for everyone and the five course dinner was the perfect treat for a special celebration. Each and every member of staff were so professional and skilled, yet consistently charming. The estate was immaculate throughout. We were delighted with the care and attention to detail. This is a very special place to visit, just as a treat or for a special occasion. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful few days.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful two-night stay at Castle Leslie Estate and thoroughly loved every minute of it. The experience was exceptional from start to finish, and we truly couldn’t commend the staff highly enough. We would especially like to mention Frank, who was incredibly warm and welcoming. While escorting us to our room, he took the time to tell us about all the exciting activities and facilities available during our stay, which really helped us make the most of our visit. His friendly and engaging manner made a lasting impression and set the tone for a fantastic break. We look forward to returning again soon.
