Castle Leslie Estate

I visited Snaffles restaurant earlier this month with my friend. We had the most beautiful experience. I had the beef and my friend had the stonebass. They were absolutely delicious! I had the best experience from my waitress, Poppy, and her manager, Daniel. They went above and beyond for our gorgeous evening. We will definitely be back.

We got married in Castle Leslie in May and cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff and how seamless they made our day feel. We were so lucky to have Miriam as our Wedding Coordinator, she went above and beyond for us, ensuring every single detail of our day ran smoothly and was so down to earth and easy to work with. Myself and my husband had zero stresses on the lead up to our Wedding day, and this was down to the care we received from Miriam, and the Castle Leslie staff. The food was exceptional, every course was served to perfection and service was absolutely seamless thanks to Max and his catering staff. Thank you for making our Wedding Day so unbelievably stress free and special.

This place is so serene and truly stunning. I already know I want to return one day for a longer stay. We visited for a wedding in July and had a classic room at the Lodge. I think that is the way to go since the Castle rooms are a bit funky. The whole property is beautifully decorated and we absolutely loved the included breakfast. I wish we stayed a few more nights so we could have done some of the available activities (horseback riding, archery, etc). Just means we'll have to return someday!

We had our wedding at Castle Leslie and truly have no words to express how incredible it was. From start to finish, the entire experience was beyond anything we could have dreamed of. We and our guests have never experienced service like it, absolutely top notch! Every single member of staff went above and beyond with such genuine warmth and professionalism. Our wedding co-ordinator, Miriam, was nothing short of an angel. She listened to our every need, guided us through every detail, and made us feel completely at ease throughout the whole process. We honestly don’t know what we would have done without her. The food was out of this world, 100/10! Easily the nicest wedding food we have ever had (even if it was our own wedding!), and our guests are still raving about it. The rooms, the grounds, the setting, absolute perfection. Castle Leslie is truly magical, and we feel so lucky to have celebrated the best day of our lives here. We cannot recommend it highly enough to any future couples. 💫

This is our fifth time with the Equestrian Center at Castle Leslie and we can’t say enough about it. The trainers are very experienced and fantastic teachers who inspire confidence and support your learning throughout your stay. Their team that the support the very amazing horses are equally competent and happy to help with anything. They are truly delightful and fun and they clearly care for the wonderful stable of horses. The Lodge staff are equally accommodating from the people at the front desk to those who clean the rooms to the wait staff who greet you in the morning. They genuinely make you feel welcome and they seem to enjoy what they do. Better, many have been here for years and are very welcoming upon your return. And let’s not forget those who manage your reservation at the outset, they go above and beyond. The Lodge is very comfortable; rooms cozy and comfortable. The food at breakfast and dinner that is part of your package is very good and varied… certainly lots of it. It is a great vacation and wonderful chance to improve your cross country skills.
