It’s so lovely If you like horse riding they have super horses and scenic riding and advanced riding trails - no brainer If you love horses - spa is small but treatments amazing I had a spiritual Experience with reiki tiger foods pretty Good atmosphere great ! Been a few times and will continue to do so !

We were here for a wedding. A really beautiful gobsmacking place. Bit pricy if you were to stay as a normal guest. Otherwise a wonderful place

Magnificent setup and service/staff were so good,nothing was too much. Food excellent. Spa and massage were 1st class. Literally we had fully qualified physio and sports massage experts. Weather was unreal. Wonderful venue. Picnic by the lake in our own Pod one day.

Stunning hotel and grounds . We stayed in the lodge which was beautifully decorated (have stayed in the castle once before and it’s a real privilege). We had the golden years package which included dinner in Connor’s bar on one night and Snaffles on the second night. I had never tried snaffles before and was glad I did; a real treat, beautifully presented food, cooked perfectly, served by attentive staff. Breakfast in this hotel is probably the best I’ve ever had at home or abroad; good selection at the buffet and on the menu. I booked a group hack at the equestrian centre (make sure to book well in advance). Excellent staff and content, healthy horses . I recommend this as a special way to enjoy the grounds . My partner had a massage and highly rated it . The sauna and hot tub were a nice touch too. The Walled Garden tour is great, led by the head gardener who is passionate about his work. It was interesting and informative. Every member of staff in the lodge , restaurant, castle , grounds and equestrian centre were great. Not a bit of negative feedback about any one of them . Can’t wait for my 5th stay!

We stayed for one night in the Castle itself. Everything about our stay was good quality, thoughtful and well designed. We ate in Conor's Bar and enjoyed both meals, greatly improved from the last time we ate there. Best of all was breakfast in the Castle's dining room, a fabulous view, friendly, helpful staff and a delicious choice of food. After checkout, we took the red trail round two of the estate's three lakes. A lovely walk with some wonderful views. All staff were excellent, they really make you feel welcomed and valued. Special mentions to João at the Castle for his efficiency and friendliness and also to Marta in reservations who could not have been more helpful - both were outstanding.
