Stamford Grand Adelaide

arrived - vehicle too high to get into carpark so told to find own park - I am disabled so no disabled parks close by that were free so had to walk back 500metres Enter room - no free wine or nibbles to welcome you except for 2 free bottles of water - now this package was worth $500 with a large area and a spa. The room was nice but looks like it needs a refresh - especially for $500 a night....we had a so called winter indulgence special saying dinner included and breakfast - fine except dinner valued to $70 total for 2 people with a pre-planned menu, no drinks or pre dinner nibbles - so drinks extra but if you wanted a more expensive main course then you had to pay the difference but you only had two extra choices and no dessert was included in this. The Buffet breakfast was nice which was the only good experience. We then had to experience the night in a bed that was so uncomfortable - King size, pillows that were so big you couldn't flatten them, at least the linen was clean, and a night club down below that went to 2am in the morning...and we were on the tenth floor, but it reverberated all the way up!!! I wanted to take my wife away so she could indulge in something nice before going in to have a mastectomy - so it was majorly disappointing - if you have money to throw away maybe, but I don't recommend to stay there if you are expecting an amazing and opulent room. Very disheartened.

Location is wonderful. Quiet ..it is winter by the sea Watching sea& sunset, planes arriving, walks, restaurants.. We paid for the upgrade to sea view and we'll worth it. It has a charm and customer service was excellent. Cheerful staff. Comfortable room. Only small issue loung chairs could be updated, not that comfortable anymore. Clean tidy comfortable bed and quiet...

Hotel is great, however the parking building is park at your own risk. Our ute canopy etc was locked, however the tool boxes got opened and equipment was stolen overnight on a Monday.

Had a great couple of days staying at the Stamford Grand in Glenelg. Amazing location with fabulous facilities. Loved the Horizons Cocktail lounge for our evening drinks and nibbles. All the staff were courteous and helpful. So easy to access all to offer in the local area

We were welcomed at the door by Levi Gigin and he was very well mannered unpacked our luggage from our car , and meet us at our room carried everything in after I asked if I can help and his response was Mam I can do it all for you . Very impressed with his help and friendly nature. Definitely a keeper for your up market Hotel . Will be staying again next month. Great job Levi Gigin 🙌
