Great spot in Glenelg, nice friendly staff, good quality eateries and bars. Tremendous views from the City view suite but the hotel is just a little dated and in need of some TLC to bring it into the 2020s.

Lovely hotel, great location, but the Grand Bar let it down

We stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely stay overall. The staff in the main hotel were wonderful, helpful and cheerful. The room was clean, and the view was stunning. The location was excellent, right in the middle of Glenelg, with everything available within walking distance, and it was not far from the airport. It was great value and a lovely hotel. The only disappointment was the Grand Bar. The staff there did not seem friendly or welcoming, and it felt like we were an inconvenience being there. They finished what was obviously an important conversation before serving us and left us standing there for quite some time, which really let that part of the hotel down.

Friendly, efficient and comfortable

Great service, room and breakfast. Check in was efficient and friendly and the room was comfortable, clean and well maintained. We had a lovely breakfast in Cascades. Check out was equally efficient and friendly. I would recommend this hotel for a beachfront stay in Adelaide.

Amazing location, beautiful view. Clean older rooms. Do not eat here. The promenade restaurant is in need of cleaning. Grimy floors, stained walls. None of our family finished our breakfast. The way I’m currently feeling, I’m pretty sure my request for almond milk was unheeded (lactose intolerant)
