Stunning location
Great location, great staff. Had an ocean room view and was stunning. Make sure to ask for a non connecting room if you want privacy!

Stamford at Glenelg a great choice!
Great location - promenade walk, tram to city, close to relatives Room was excellent value. Bathroom well appointed with the most amazing shower cap! Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The large window was good for the eastern view - as it rained, we didn't miss the beach.

Winter Indulgence at the Stamford Grand in Glenelg, SA
We have used the Stamford Grand's Winter Indulgence package before for a birthday occasion and this time it proved to be a similar excellent experience. The only downside we experienced this time was that we could not utilise the Promenade Restaurant for our dinner at night and had to use the Bar for dinner as we stayed on a Thursday night. However, everything else in the package was excellent. The breakfast in the Promenade Restaurant was brilliant. Well done to the chefs and the service people.

Very enjoyable stay
We stayed for two nights in a city view room. The room was quiet and dark at night and the bed comfortable. The location is great, close to the jetty, the trams and all the cafes of Jetty Rd. Here's a comment I don't think has been made before: The table tennis table in the bar is a great touch but the (rigid metal) "net" is at least 2cm higher than standard.
