Very nice experience. In particular Mr Gabriel. He came to get our suitcases from the car, left them in the room, and was always concerned about us, providing good service.

This Hotel is very well situated right adjacent to the Glenelg Beach and Jetty. The Jetty Road shopping centre has a vast array of dining options ,the rooms are clean and comfortable, the prices were reasonable.

Not impressed

Dropped by the Grand Bar for an afternoon drink and food. Our food order came out and was not as described. We were told we would be given a fresh meal but were given the same bowl of food back again with some chicken thrown on top. Not impressed so left the meal there and left the bar.

Incredible Location but needs some love

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

The location of this hotel is fantastic, right in the heart of Glenelg, overlooking the beach. You can roll out of bed onto the tram and into restaurants and cafes. We stayed here 8 years ago, and things were looking a bit tired then. They still have the same blue chairs from back then are rock hard and worn out. The bed is sagging and backbreaking. Along with the thin and soggy pillows, it doesn't make a good sleep. The bathroom is nice with a hot shower, although you can't put the mat down in front of the shower as the water drains away onto the tiles. There were some art and gift shops in the lobby when we came 8 years ago, but they are all gone now, which is a shame (probaby victims of covid). The staff were pleasant upon arrival and checkout. The main bar looked ok, but there is a nice lounge area with a sunken bar, which we liked for a drink before dinner. The Promenade restaurant was just ok and has potential, but the highly strung waiter made the experience akin to a Faulty Tower episode. For the price of staying here and it being marketed as a luxury hotel, it needs a spruce up, and some love to reflect that. It's such a shame as it's in a prime location and has so much potential.

Great location & views

Great location and nice spacious clean room! Can’t sit out in the balcony to enjoy the lovely beach view though. We upgraded to a balcony room for no reason basically. Buffet Breakfast wasn’t the best but it did the job. Would consider staying here again as location is amazing and parking was also very convenient for $30 a day.
