One&Only Aesthesis

Beautiful resort with very clear water and a sandy beach with shallow water. It’s a 30-45 minute drive into Athens, and there are plenty of local restaurants in the area. The airport is only 30 minutes away. Very good food at the restaurants, but maybe a bit limited choice for a longer stay. They have the main hotel restaurant which is by the pool, the newly opened Sumosan Japanese (dinner only), and then the Manko beach club next door. Otherwise try Astakos on the harbour only a short walk from the hotel, excellent seafood and good service. The staff at this resort really makes the difference, always smiling and happy to help, especially the pool staff were incredible. Only housekeeping was rather random, often forgot towels etc. We travelled with a 4-month-old baby, for which the hotel supplied a baby cot, a bottle steamer and even a diaper bin, well done! A few areas for improvement: - Was missing the small touches, like some fresh fruit in the room during the stay, a little chocolate or cookies in the room when coming back in the afternoon after a day out. Something the next door Four Seasons masters to perfection. - That smoking was allowed in the whole restaurant outside is just so incredible out of touch. Many were smoking at breakfast and having a fat cigar during dinner time. If you must have smoking then make a designated area in one end of the restaurant. - Charging 250 EUR per hour for a tennis lesson seems rather excessive, and so does 40 EUR to join group exercise classes, which normally would be for free. We 100% enjoyed our stay at the One & Only, the great beach and the proximity to the city and airport makes is the perfect quick getaway destination.

I liked the resort style, but was not a fan of the beach. Very friendly staff, went above and beyond.

The resort is outstanding, people are great, but there’s ZERO execution… Everybody will say yes to everything, but regretfully nothing will come to pass. The resort is expensive and the service is lousy…

From the moment I arrived at the One&Only, Rommel welcomed me with a big smile and was incredibly polite and helpful. Shortly after, Jean Paul gave me a brief tour of the hotel, which was both informative and enjoyable. Their hospitality made a great first impression, and the service throughout my stay was excellent. Highly recommended! (Accidentally I submitted a wrong star rating in my first review )
