Alila Diwa Goa

We have visited the AD for brunch before and have always had a most enjoyable time, we have also stayed at the hotel on many occasions before it was taken over by the Hyatt group. It was our friends wedding anniversary last week and we suggested going to the AW for brunch as they had never been before. I rang up to book a table for Sunday 7th December and had a long chat with the lady on the phone explaining that we were bringing friends for a special occasion and we would very much like a table on the patio. All this was noted she said and she even took my Indian phone number. Can you imagine the horror when we arrived yesterday at 12.30 all dressed up only to find the hotel packed with a wedding party and being told that they weren’t open for brunch. I felt totally humiliated as we had spoilt what was supposed to be a special day for our friends. We were dropped off by taxi which had gone by the time we realised there was no brunch and wasn’t returning to pick us up till 16.30. Therefore we had to hang around at a local restaurant as we didn’t want to let him down. My husband and I were planning to attend the Christmas brunch but I am not sure I can bring myself to return.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Alila Diwa Goa. This was my third visit here in my last five trips to Goa, and there’s a reason I keep coming back - the experience is consistently exceptional. I stayed at the Alila Diwa Club and the room was fantastic - beautifully designed, spacious and extremely comfortable. The hospitality throughout my stay truly stood out; every staff member was warm, attentive and genuinely committed to creating a memorable experience. The food across all the restaurants was top-notch and consistently delicious. The property itself is stunning, peaceful and beautifully maintained, with a serene atmosphere that makes you instantly feel relaxed. Overall, a flawless and deeply enjoyable stay - I highly recommend Alila Diwa Goa and would love to return again soon.

Food was amazing specially Spice Studio ambience and lighting with great food will make your day what else needed. Vivo servers best breakfast menu as a Vegetarian we loved the food and concierge services

As a Globalist member have been spoilt to expect a certain level of delivery but guess resort properties used to captive wedding & conference business feel going the extra yard is not necessary. Disappointed with the poor service where staff commit to getting something but forget. The wedding group we were part of were looked after to what I can best call 3star delivery. Anyway it was only for 2 nights and even the air conditioning in our room #338 even could not be fixed after multiple tries so glad it was a short stay. Himanshu the duty manager tried to be of help but needs help & overall a very mediocre experience.
