Location, atmosphere and staff service is very good. There was an afternoon wasted with trying to get the air conditioning, refrigerator and the tv remote in the room fixed. The food at the Spice restaurant wa fantastic.

We spent a week here as a couple and it was an excellent time. The staff are excellent - helpful and attentive. Food is very good with a great variety to chose from.

I ought to write reviews but often I don’t bother. However, having stayed at the Alila Diwa in Goa for last few days I want to share my experiences, mainly because it is such a nice hotel with charming staff. Also, couple of restaurants serving delicious, and well priced food: especially local seafood! We have stayed in a number of v good hotels all over the world but this place e is perfect: very beautiful infinity pool overlooking rice paddies. Short walk to perfectly nice beach, tho a few hawkers, which I guess is normal for India. That said, standout things about this little gem of a hotel: pool area exquisite, really fab food but, most of all, completely excellent service (everywhere in hotel) from smiling, friendly and helpful staff. It’s just great, and we may well come back here..

Me and my family had the most amazing six days at Alila and would say the staff here throughout the hotel were just incredible and so friendly that some started to feel like family and friends since we celebrated Christmas here with everyone. Other hotels should learn from Alila about what excellent service and hospitality looks like! Breakfast spread was always plentiful and very delicious, we ate at almost every restaurant within the hotel and I can say the food did not disappoint at all. The pools are lovely and very spacious, NOT temperature controlled though so it did always feel very cold especially at first. the only negative was that we thought as it's Christmas time there shouldn't be any weddings, but how wrong were we, the weddings didn't stop and as lovely as they looked I must admit it caused a disruption to our holiday, which was of no fault to any staff and they did everything to make our stay comfortable but there were times we couldn't eat at certain restaurants and go to certain areas of the hotel. I visited the spa for a lovely and relaxing massage with Jamier (sorry if that's spelt wrong) it was the best massage I've ever had in my life and she really knew her stuff, but my friend who had a massage whilst the weddings were going on didn't have a great experience as all she heard was the music blasting from the wedding DJ where it should have been nice and relaxing. Finally a special mention to Aditi, Sourav, Mohit Raju, Colin, Chef Chandra, Soundari, Vaibhav, Ramachandra and apologies if I've forgotten anyone. Can't wait to go back ☺️
