I had to wait for 1 hour for breakfast as there wasn't a table available at your restaurant. Then I was sent to Ular Chulha restaurant where half the breakfast options weren't available 😕. They asked for payment right after delivering food to our rooms. Considering we'd already paid ₹2.5 lakhs for the rooms, it's shocking they didn't trust us for ₹5-10k 😡. Worst experience. The rooms had a stale smell, like they'd been closed for ages 😷. I'm a Prime member with Taj, Oberoi, and Marriott, and this was my first and last stay at Hyatt 😒.

My family and I had a fantastic short break before the year ending (27-30th Dec 2025) at the Grand Hyatt Goa overlooking the stunning waters of Bambolim Bay. We loved the Indo Portuguese architecture and the beautiful landscaping of the sprawling property. We opted for the rooms with Twin beds with Balcony Bay view -offering private balconies with unobsructed stunning views of the Bambolim bay from your bed or balcony. Receiving a welcoming note from Mr. Vikram Rajawat- Director of Rooms made our stay feel very welcoming. Our interconnecting Rooms nos were 3108 and 3109. Spacious rooms and huge bathrooms, we had a most comfortable and relaxing stay. Afsana in housekeeping ensured we had everything. Overall, our stay was comfortable; however, we felt that the housekeeping could be improved. The sofas, chairs, and benches in the balcony areas were not properly dusted, and there was noticeable dust around the interconnecting doors. I feel the housekeeping service should pay a little more attention to these details. We visited the Pool Bar and Grill almost daily - just steps away from Bay and enjoyed most spectacular sunsets with unobsructed views every evening sipping our drinks with fabulous food. However, I found the service very slow. We literally had to get the attention of someone or the other to place our order. Our breakfasts were spread over 3 restaurants because of the season rush and we mostly ate at the Chulha restaurant. Our breakfast experience at Chulha, Grand Hyatt was made exceptional by Swapnil. His courteous service, attentiveness & hospitality, and constant smile made us feel truly well looked after. He ensured all our requirements were met effortlessly and even served delightful chilled mimosas to start the day on a perfect note. A true asset to the restaurant. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Sous Chef Vittal Naik for ensuring consistently delicious, piping-hot food each morning. A special mention to Chef Praveen for the wonderfully crispy special dosas, and to Chef Santosh for the yummiest stuffed paranthas along with the most flavourful masala chai at the live counter—absolute highlights of our breakfasts. There was a Goan/Maharashtrian counter offering regional specialties; however, it appeared unattended or empty most of the time during our three-day stay. We were grateful to Nikita at Chulha, who later ensured that we could sample the Goan delicacies, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Her initiative was much appreciated. In room dining service was extremely slow. I guess because of the heavy season rush. There is plenty to be entertained at the property to swimming pools, casinos, Spa, salon. Overall, the property offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by lush greenery which is treat to the senses, with beautiful bay-facing rooms that enhance the sense of calm. While there is no direct access to the beach at the moment (work is going on), the serene atmosphere and natural setting more than make up for it, making the stay thoroughly enjoyable.

We stayed at The Grand Hyatt Goa from 21 December 2025 for seven nights. This was our second visit and it was extremely disappointing. Unauthorised payments were taken before arrival, breaching Booking.com policy. Attempts to resolve this at check-in were met with dismissive staff and the issue was never properly addressed. On arrival, our booked balcony rooms were not available despite being planned for over a year. We were placed in ground-floor rooms instead, clearly overpaying for what we received. Chemical sprays were used near these rooms and fumes entered the rooms, causing a family member to become unwell and require medical attention. Our initial request to move rooms was ignored. Noise levels were unacceptable for a five-star resort. Weddings and events ran until around 3am nightly, with no effective control, making rest impossible. Service was poor throughout, with long waits, forgotten requests, unresolved issues at checkout, and a disorganised departure. Overall, this hotel falls well short of five-star standards in service, organisation, and guest care. Based on our experience, we would not return and would strongly advise others to carefully consider alternative options before booking.

We had a wonderful 10 days at this fantastic property. My husband & I travel frequently and have visited many top class hotels on our travels, but the service at this hotel really stands out. The staff work so hard to create a highly personalised service and to exceed your expectations. We regularly frequented all of the restaurants (including the fabulous Le Petit Chef experience) and each time the dishes just delighted us (thank you to Nidhi & Vikesh). The property is large and super-well maintained - lots of lush greenery and flowers and the rooms are spacious and well maintained and the pool area is lovely. We were lucky enough to be roomed in Guest House 1 which is peaceful and located away from the main hotel - this was at my special request knowing that during our stay there would be weddings and conferences taking place. On that particular subject, an Indian wedding is a spectacle to behold - loud, lots of people and especially colourful. During these days, breakfast time especially can get a little overwhelming. We were especially appreciative of Smita our guest relations manager, or more like a concierge - literally anything we needed or wanted she would take care of (excursions, restaurants, recommendations)... just incredible service! The Shamana Spa is also a wonderful experience and I just wish I had visited it sooner - I enjoyed a 1.5hr Chakra rebalancing massage (out of curiosity really!) and the next day & onwards I felt completely back on track. I would not hesitate to return one day and pick up again with all of the wonderful "friends" who took are of us on our stay! Would definitely recommend!

Tanaya Haldankar is an absolute star. Very memorable experience with respect to food as well as stay. Couldn't have hoped for anything better. Pool, staff, vibes everything is picture perfect.
