Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach

Fabulous from start to finsh. It started with champagne at the check in counter. Then the complimentary champagne sent to our room for my wife's birthday. The location is great, walk to the beach and the tram. Highly recommended.

Oh a good location and rooms are big however windows aren’t sound proof and there is a building site next door . Woken at 6.30am to banging & drilling - not a holiday experience when hoping for relaxing peaceful night sleep . Ok if here for work but not for a holiday - a shame .

Good location and great service from hotel staff. A big thank you to Tatiana from the concierge team who helped us during a flat tyre incident yesterday. She made all the necessary calls, offered to wait for roadside assistance, and even used her personal phone to make things easier. She encouraged my family to go for breakfast while she handled everything. Truly exceptional service.

I stayed for two nights and had a very good stay. My room even had a nice view of the sea! The location was very convenient, with a nearby Woolworths, Starbucks, and several other restaurants and cafés. The beach is also within easy reach. The nearest tram station is Broadbeach North, making it convenient to get around the Gold Coast. If you're travelling by bus from other parts of the Gold Coast, the hotel is also manageable to reach, and travelling onwards to Brisbane by tram and train is convenient as well. The room was great overall. The only issue I encountered was that the deadbolt on the main door was faulty, but everything else was on point. Overall, I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay in a great location.

Customer service is great from check in to check out. Was here 20 years ago, rooms are great size. Restaurant served great food, worth the price. Was upgraded due to membership status which was great. Not sure why in 2026, hotels still require a bond from loyal members. Will be back
