Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach

Great location for Broadbeach sitting above the Oasis Mall.m - supermarket, bakery, excellent dining options. Location to Surf Club and 5 min walk to beach. excellent whale watching early morning and eve during migration months. Sofitel staff were attentive and friendly. Room was well appointed … king ocean view suite. Breakfast was run of the mill. Plenty of staff and tables cleaned quickly. Would stay again.

Hotel location is excellent, just beside the shopping center, there are many restaurants around the hotel, and it is just a short walk to go the beach and the light rail station. Check in process was quick and the staff was friendly. The room has an old fashioned design but overall still comfortable to sleep and size is enough too. Breakfast in the hotel was very good with many choices and taste excellent. Overall I will consider coming back again in my future trip to Gold Coast

Cracking hotel in a great location. Amazing breakfast and good facilities. Would def stay again! Staff very helpful and can’t do enough.

For an average of $500-$600 per night for a regular night, it is expected to be a premium luxury hotel. - 2 out of 4 Lifts were available and they took forever , and when you get inside you feel you are in a 80s movie. - room is very dated, I am constantly hearing the whirring noise from the lifts, it's freezing in the room and the heater just lets out cold air, plus a constant cold breeze that's coming from the bathroom. - The overall hotel temperature is absolutely freezing, in the hallways between the rooms - One of the only Sofitels in Australia that doesn’t have a lounge. - Reception has only one employee despite having four different counters. - Lobby is very dull, Overall vibe of the hotel is very depressing, hallways, lifts in parking area, pool, etc.. Stayed in so many Sofitels around the world, and this is by far the most depressing. - Musty smell from the room. - The hotel is dated to the extent that the rooms do not even have chromecast - Water pressure was very low and took forever to get hot water Hats off though to Vianne and Blaize who tried to help out as much as they can, but most of the issues I mentioned had nothing to do with staff.

Just enjoyed another really memorable stay at Sofitel Broadbeach. From check in to check out service was impeccable- as was the service throughout the hotel. Staff were always warm and friendly but never intrusive. Our room- with beautiful ocean views- was very clean, well maintained and supplied with high quality amenities. It’s always our ‘go to’ for our stay on the Gold Coast and we look forward to returning next year.
