Alhambra Palace Hotel

Alhambra Palace Hotel is a straight 10/10 across the board. No weak links. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the Alhambra, which already sets the tone. From there, everything escalates. The atmosphere transports you to another era, but with style, comfort, and zero dust. Historic without feeling outdated. That balance is hard to pull off. They nailed it. The food is excellent, and the views over the Albaicín from the restaurant are simply spectacular. This is not a “nice backdrop” situation. It’s a full experience. The cocktail bar is perfectly executed, from the drinks to the ambiance. Calm, elegant, and intentional. Service is polished and natural, not forced. Special mention to Paco, the valet, who was genuinely great and added a personal touch that makes a difference. Everything works. Everything feels right. This is one of those places where you can tell management cares about details and consistency. Highly recommended. Staying here is not just convenient. It’s a pleasure.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The room we got - not so much. It was quite small and definitely not worth the €500 a night which the hotel charges. We had an average dinner at the hotel restaurant- quite overpriced, to be honest. All in all, though the hotel is beautiful and well located, it’s not worth the money they charge.

Service was truly exceptional, from reception to dining service & housekeeping. Want to give shout out to the awesome reception staff (Macarena, Christina & sorry I miss one lady who’s super kind when she attended us when we arrived, Monday morning. Vincent was very helpful too. The location couldn’t be better - perched just steps from Alhambra itself with sweeping views of Granada and Sierra Nevada. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The decor is stunning and make you feel immersed in Andalusian history.

It’s a wonderful hotel. Another Spanish gem with beautiful tilework throughout. If you stay you should have a drink or meal on the balcony overlooking the city, it’s a spectacular view. The breakfast is very good and the rooms are fine.

This is a beautiful hotel with some similar architecture to the Alhambra. The public areas are unbelievable. The terrace restaurant has amazing views of the city and lovely sunsets. We booked through Expedia and received a good rate for the property but as always when I book with them the rooms are subpar in size and views. My sister booked through American Express and had a much lovelier view and room for same category. Service was excellent.. Tomas at the terrace restaurant and bar was very congenial. Hotel did not provide hair conditioner in room but it was available upon request.
