We can't praise this place enough, from the minute we arrived to going home, everything was perfect. When we checked in I happened to mention to the receptionist that it was our 30th wedding anniversary, and as we got to our room we were given a complimentary bottle of cava, which blew us away and got our 2 night stay off to a good start. We had 2 meals in the beautiful terrace restaurant overlooking the city, we ordered the char grilled steak for 2, it was the best steak I've ever had in my life, and I've eaten steak all over the world, the second night we had the braised lamb which was also exquisite and the desserts were delicious. All the waiters were lovely people. The room was impeccably clean thanks to the wonderful chamber maids, the room has everything you need, including a fridge, not just a mini bar, which we found very useful, the bed was comfortable and the pillow was sleeping on a cloud, we were pleased to see that breakfast even catered for the English, with little rolls of bacon and beautiful runny eggs, but if you don't want that, the buffet breakfast has everything anyone could want. The hotel itself is beautiful but we understood it more after seeing the Alhambra, it is a very special historic hotel that compliments the Alhambra perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay thanks to the whole team including the valet parking service.

Good accommodation. Dry central location. Walking distance to all attractions. Friendly and helpful staff. Below average restaurant for a 5 star hotel. Terrible valet service for cars. The car was returned with scratches both sides. Strongly recommend that travelers take video footage of the condition of their cars before they hand it to the Valet at this hotel.

We stayed here two days in july and had a wonderful time. The terrace outside the hotel with views over the city is worth the visit on its own. Large and nice rooms with good air and good beds. Wonderful bathrooms with japanese toilets - that we all loved, surprisingly! Close proximity to the Alhambra castle and a short walk to the city centre. A wonderful place to stay, both regarding history and comfort.

Pros: Relatively big rooms when compared to other hotels Located near the alhambra palace Cons: Wifi barely works, almost impossible to stay in a whatsapp call for longer than 3 minutes uninterrupted Breakfast not incuded despite the insane 300€ pricing per night Random sewer smell coming from the toilets Strong smell of cleaning substances throughout the whole hotel Water leaking through pipes under the sink onto the floor No pool, spa, or any entertainment Door to the toilets do not have locks(however thats a problem in many hotels, not just this one) The hotel is absolutely not worth its price.

Amazing food and incredible views. Worth every penny and every stair you have to climb to visit the city! It’s a hike to get anywhere but you really cannot beat the views. One note, there is no coin laundry (despite many sites saying there is) only and expensive laundry service. That said, I’d return a million times to Granada and to this specific hotel.
