The hotel is a beautiful resort, with welcoming staff, comfortable, well maintained rooms, and an excellent set of amenities. We loved the views, the ambiance, and the variety of options for relaxation and dining. The evening we spent in the Oconee Cove Speakeasy was the most memorable of our stay. Overall, it’s expensive but worth it. Considering the family friendly ambiance of the resort, we were disappointed the last day of our stay when a group of extremely loud guests were in front of us at the lake including a loud male whose every other comment was F’n this and F’n that. This was well within earshot of a nearby group of children as well as the hotel’s lake attendants. We moved to the pool by Gaby’s to escape this. Unfortunately, the group soon moved there as well and joined an already loud set of other quests. As one member of our family noted, this was like sitting next to a loud frat party. I’m disappointed that the staff and management did not recognize this issue and address it. Thus the one star reduction in what otherwise was a five star experience.

The service is incredible. Every member of the staff was polite, cheerful and willing to go above and beyond to satisfy guests needs. Specifically, Chef Michael personally prepared some fare to share some of the vegan offerings at the Ritz. The concierge Pamela was very helpful in booking the Raptor Adventure at the last minute. The staff at the complimentary bike corral, golf driving range and waterfront were knowledgeable and helpful. Mornings were greeted with coffee in the lobby and dusk said goodnight with smores at the fire pit. The Ritz is an amazing place where your hosts care personally for you and your delightful stay.

Stayed here for three nights for a long weekend getaway w family. Beautiful hotel and grounds. The pool and general grounds of the hotel were beautiful and maintained very well. The service was fantastic - everyone was friendly and helpful. We upgraded to club lounge access - the food and drinks in the lounge were great and the staff in the lounge was the best at the hotel! Highly recommend!

Fourth year in a row for us here on Memorial Day. The experience can’t be beat and will provide such great memories for my kids. We meet people traveling from as far as California for this weekend. The setting and the service simply are amazing.

We had a fantastic trip and I am proud to report the Ritz level of service we have all come to know is alive and well at this property. Despite the property seemingly at capacity service was top notch with plenty of well trained staff members at every turn. Restaurants, pools and golf courses were packed with guests & members but other than seeing them you wouldn't have known it from the exceptional service. We ate at Linger Longer, Gabby's, and the Italian restaurant for dinner each night and loved every minute of it with great food at each stop. Every morning we had breakfast at the Italian restaurant and it was also perfect. We did have one minor issue with our room and it was professionally and discreetly handled by a fantastic manager (I believe it was Jay) befitting of a high class establishment such as this. Charlie at the front entrance was ever present and fantastic whenever we needed help, as was Noah at the pool. There are more staff members that deserve mention here but I just couldn't keep track of everyone's name. If you are contemplating a trip I urge you to go. Based on our experience it will be a trip to remember.
