I fear that I am now spoiled from all other hotels. This place is exquisite, from the decor to the cleanliness of the rooms. The location is perfect on the edge of busy main street yet quiet with great views.

Great location, design, and architecture...but underwhelmed with the room/stay. Amazing location, right on the falls downtown. Art everywhere. Maybe GREAT for a wedding or event, but (for us), there are other brands and properties very close that would have been half the price, and maybe would have had better rooms. As a "luxury" property, we expected a bit more attention to the details. The room was nice enough. Seemed oddly laid out. Not a fan of the carpet that has a wild design (pretty) but made it difficult to determine if it was clean. Bed linens and towels were clean. Not a fan of the bath products that were in high volume (refillable) containers. We prefer individually packaged amenities. Lobby/arrival cocktails were offered. We had a sip or two, but they were not noteworthy and we saw many discard (half full), as were ours. We had massages at the onsite spa (nice). We also enjoyed the onsite bar and restaurant. Good, but with so many options within walking distance, check them out. Parking was difficult, at first. We tried to use the valet on arrival but it was backed up so far that we made a u-turn and parked at the garage next door (and I think we even saved a few dollars). I think we even saved TIME not using the valet. Three stars, sadly. Not bad. Just not great. For the money, we suggest looking at the other properties close by - Hampton Inn or the AC nearby might be good options? Mixed feelings about Marriott, as new Bonvoy members, we stayed at an AC Hotel for the first time on our next stop on this trip at the AC Atlanta Gateway Airport - check that review - amazing stay! For us, details matter. As with everything here on TripAdvisor, these are just our opinions. Others may feel differently, and we respect that each traveler must define their own "5" stars.

Beautiful property on the very scenic river with small waterfalls. A wonderful place to walk with easy trek to the city area as well. Dining is delicious with reservations highly recommended

Impressive lodging in Greenville. The artwork and interior is tastefully designed with a Native American theme. We arrived for a 4pm check-in but our room was not ready for another 1-1/2 hours; the management was apologetic and offered a compensation. Guests are welcomed with a seasonal cocktail-ours was a celebration of fall flavors and was delicious. The location is everything and all of Main Street, walking trails, and dining is easily accessed from the GB. Staff were super-friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful hotel and surrounding property. Our views from the balcony were stunning and relaxing for evening drinks. Even though I gave it 5 stars, the smell walking into the lobby was overwhelming. Very strong cologne-like aroma. Reminded me of the Abercrombie store.
