As a very frequent traveler I rarely find the time or inclination to write a review, not least because increasingly hotels around the world are becoming cloned and devoid of personality. The Aspen is exceptional. Firstly, the staff are, without exception, professional, attentive and respectful. The service throughout our stay was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble for any of the team. The hotel itself is wonderful, with an outstanding restaurant and chef(s). The suite we were allocated was delightful and very well equipped. Last but not least, the location is breathtaking, with views over the valley and the North Face of the Eiger. I plan to return in the summer and will no doubt return to ski again next year. Thank you. NU

Aspen Alpin was a beautiful resort with great staff and an excellent restaurant! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the magnificent views from our room with an L shaped balcony. Highly recommend staying at this relaxing and beautiful hotel!

Perfect stay with relaxed elegant feel. Many of the rooms have views of the Eiger. The shuttle picked us up from the train station with in minutes of arrival - we called when we were 10 minutes from the train stop. Although the Aspen Alpine Inn is out of town, it is easily reached by several hourly bus service picking up directly across from Aspen Inn. These buses connect directly to regional transportation in to the mountains. The charm of the location, cordial and helpful staff, fabulous spa and incredible ample breakfast make the effort well worth it. Afternoon tea and cake is a hotel courtesy between 3:00 and 4:45 - very nice way to end the day. The restuarnt setting, staff and food are absolutely superb - fresh , creative, delicious and well priced - for Grindelwald. In fact the dining was so good we cancelled our other dinner reservations didn’t bother to go in to the crowded town for any dinners. I can’t wait to go back!

The hotel is great with amazing views. It’s a little outside of town but easily reachable by bus. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was by the far the best of our entire trip in Switzerland. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel.
