In the bucolic heart of South Tuscany, where the scent off the aromatic olive groves meets the briny fragrance of the Mediterranean Sea, sits L'Andana hotel, a picturesque estate lovingly restored and presented by the celebrated Alain Ducasse Group in conjunction with the architectural masterminds of the Terra Morretti Group. L'Andana sits atop the rolling hills of the countryside as a living tribute to the region's past. Set in a building that was once a summer estate of Grand Duke Leopold II and his court, the 33-room estate graciously embraces the past in design and detail, while offering contemporary facilities and amenities. Awash in romantic reds and tantalizing tans and golds, the rooms and suites of L'Andana welcome visitors with a hint of summer no matter what the season. Alternating textures of smooth leather, soft velvet, and strong wood create subtle nuances of emotion that combine to produce a romantic getaway in each intimate living space. All rooms offer views of the countryside, luxurious Florentine silk fabrics, and delightful stone fireplaces built in the traditional Tuscan style. Modern touches along the grounds, like the hauntingly romantic wrought-iron and glass Winter Garden permeate the traditional landscape, creating an intense visual experience that is both sensual and elegant.

This hotel is the real deal. Everything you could ever want in a resort - beautiful rooms, spa, delicious breakfast, and the most incredible staff. We stayed here for two nights of our honeymoon and cannot recommend it enough. Just 10 minutes from Castiglione delle Pescaia if you want to explore downtown, or 30 minutes from Cala Violina boat tour, we had the absolute best time and can't wait to return.

This place offered an ideal Tuscan escape. It's surrounded by gorgeous countryside and is only a short drive to a sandy Mediterranean beach, where you can reserve chairs at the hotel's partner beach club. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. We spent a lot of time at their adults-only pool, which was quiet and had plenty of seats. I love to swim for exercise appreciated that the pool was long enough to do laps. The spa was very well-appointed with a sauna and a lot of different water experiences. We got couples massages, which were the best we ever had. Kudos to L'Andana for getting everything right!

The resort was very relaxing. The service was wonderful. Some of played golf on the premises. The beach that they drove us to was excellent. The owner of the beach club is like the mayor, he knew everyone. Food was good there too. Breakfast at the hotel was nice. The grounds are lovely. We did the lunch wine tasting which was great ! Our suites were very nice. Only negative is a good painting outside, and some new outdoor furniture. Food was great .

I went with high expectations and they were met and surpassed. The location is glorious even if Google Sat Nav persists in taking you in the wrong entrance! We had a deluxe room in La Villa and it was glorious beautifully in keeping with the building. Elegant luxury. Bathroom was a dream. Lots to do, magnificent grounds, excellent spa and superb food. We didn’t get to eat in the Michelin Trattoria so definitely a reason to return. Car highly recommended to explore the area. A wine and olive oil estate. An aperitif and sunset in the Wine Shop terrace area highly recommended . This is 5 star luxury with a proportionate price tag but worth every penny
