Gstaad Palace Hotel

Gstaad Palace is something special! It's such an iconic hotel with so much history. The food was amazing and the service was top notch! I loved having access to the spa amenities and wish I had more time for an appointment. I highly recommend staying at Gstaad Palace during the Zuglete! It was such a fun experience and I cannot wait to come back with my family!

From the moment we arrived at Gstaad Palace, we were welcomed with such warmth and gracious hospitality that we immediately knew we were in for a very special afternoon. We began with drinks on the beautiful terrace, taking in the spectacular mountain views, before settling in for lunch at La Terrasse. Gstaad Palace truly is the epitome of Swiss mountain luxury — iconic, elegant and full of character, yet somehow still incredibly warm and inviting. It was everything we imagined it would be and honestly so much more. Lunch was absolutely magnificent. The setting could not have been more beautiful, the food was exceptional and the service impeccable from beginning to end. Every detail felt effortless and perfectly done. The Grand Marnier soufflé is an absolute must — truly one of the highlights of an already unforgettable lunch from the fabulous presentation to the last bite! We are especially grateful to Florence White for arranging such a wonderful first visit for us. Her thoughtfulness made the experience feel even more special, and our afternoon at Gstaad Palace became one of those magical Swiss memories we will treasure and look forward to returning for another (longer!) visit.

Absolutely fabolous hotel, oozes class and the hotel team are genuinely warm and friendly.

Staring at a Concrete Wall: Unacceptable for 5 Stars For 1,200 CHF per night at the Palace Hotel Gstaad, we were expecting a top-tier luxury stay - instead, opening the window revealed a view directly facing a blank, concrete wall. The hotel's excuse: "a room with a restricted view." We were denied a room change, ruining the start of our vacation with pure frustration. Only after a firm complaint were we offered a 30% discount. However, this in no way compensates for being put behind a concrete wall and misleading guests when booking a stay. For a five-star institution, this is unheard of and a major disappointment for frequent guests.
