In the heart of Gstaad village and the Promenade on your doorstep, Le Grand Bellevue was originally built in 1912 as a Cure House and Spa and continues to hold the title of the oldest palace hotel in Gstaad. This luxury Swiss resort combines the refinements of a grand hotel with the charm of a cozy country home. Family-owned, managed and designed, the hotel comprises 57 bedrooms. Bold colours, eye-catching prints and elegant furniture make up the interiors. All suites and rooms offer panoramic views of the Gstaad Saanenland mountains. The hotel’s signature restaurant LEONARD’s offers exceptional Michelin-starred cuisine in a relaxed environment whilst the more intimate 18-seat Le Petit Chalet serves up a menu of hearty Swiss dishes and its art deco bar and cocktail lounge bouquet have become Gstaad’s most sought after night spots.

Hotel lived up to our expectations - beautiful historic building, excellent food, attentive service, luxurious spa . We really enjoyed the half-board as the 3 course dinner provided was amazing. We haven't stayed at the other 2 big luxury hotels in town but I looked at them - and other than not having an outdoor pool, I think Le Grande Bellevue was the best combination of attractiveness and service - historic more than hip and luxurious rather than stuffy - and relatively speaking worth the money.

Superb hotel partner of either Hyatt ( Mr and Mrs Smith ) or Hilton ( SLH ) with amazing grounds and close to downtown Gstaad, rooms are very nice and spacious with a great bathroom. The only downside for Americans is the lack of AC as there is NONE ! Be aware in case of super hot summer days you might not be able to sleep … The breakfast was alright, a bit disappointing with a bitter coffee, viennoiserie ( croissants and such ) so so Solid amenities with a Spa, amazing pool, gym, movie theater etc We were lucky that the day we came the weather was perfect and the night was chilled but I would not stay at this property on a hot summer day!

Terrific stay , from check in to departure , our experience was blissful The people at the front desk went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Thank you all , restaurant reservations and recommendations were superb , your kindness in arranging transfers back and forth were much appreciated. A special shout out to Melani , Ricardo , Luis , all at the front desk and of course the Head Concierge whose helpfulness and guidance one will never forget . We so look forward to returning to this bliss full haven in the Alps

This is as good as it gets. Beautiful hotel, great food and bar, amazing facilities, and room with killer views and state of the art comfort in the best location in Gstaad. You could spend 2x to stay at the Palace but you have to get in a car to go anywhere. The Bellevue is a 3 minute walk to train station and town, and you can walk to hiking trails surrounding Gstaad. Concierge Olivier is a treasure and knows everything there is to know about Gstaad including all the trails in the hills. The tiny sushi bar is helmed by a master sushi chef and who would have guessed that you could get world class sushi in Switzerland. The spa facilities really are epic. Service is impeccable with super friendly but professional staff. Also Manuela behind the bar knows how to make a perfect martini. Magical place.

Really nice hotel, just in front of the Gstaad village pedestrian ares. The hotel is very charming, with very nice rooms and excellent bathrooms. Vallet parking, professional and attending staff. We really liked, that when we sat outside we got the feeling we were in the countryside, yet, only five minutes walk from the village center
