Celebrated for its wild natural beauty, Ecuador is also a place of refined urban delights. In its southwest corner, you will find the vibrant port of Guayaquil, gateway to the Galapagos Islands and home to the sophisticated Oro Verde Hotel Guayaquil. With its prime downtown location, this urban escape pampers guests with tasteful modern décor, the Oro-Fit Spa, a lively casino and bevy of restaurants, including El Patio, providing a tantalizing journey through Ecuadorian gastronomy.

Every aspect of Hotel Oro Verde was exquisite including the modern room decor, delicious restaurants & bar. Due to personal circumstances, my trip was expected to be stressful but thanks to staying at Oro Verde, I was able to unwind. The kind, genuine and efficient assistance received by Ana Paula and Maria Alejandra are a true reflection of the standards of excellence Oro Verde upholds. I look forward to staying there next year when I return and will be highly recommending this hotel to colleagues and family.

What a wonderful place for our last stop on our tour of Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands! Bathroom was spacious, fluffy towels. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast buffet spectacular. Pool and Spa facilities absolutely appreciated after trekking the Galapagos.

Checked into hotel, pre-booked via tour company. Delux Room on my booking. Hotel had allocated a Std Room. All others in the party got what they paid for: Delux. When asked at reception for correct category; basically No, we are not going to change your room. Room facilities were less than perfect.... Also, whilst relaxing in reception, awaiting shuttle to airport, was politely interrupted to be told; No sleeping in Reception Policy...... really !! One bad experience of what should have been a great stay. Very disappointing.

The staff was beyond kind and the room was precious. It had everything we needed. Buffet breakfast offered several options including the normal things and Ecuadorian food as well. It also has a pool where you can relax from the sunny days. Would definitely consider staying here another time

The hotel is beautiful, the staff super attentive and friendly, especially Victor. He was great! Gave us a map, told us where to go and got us a taxi. All accommodations were taken care of and everything is very upscale at a decent price. 5 out of 5 stars.
