JA Manafaru

We recently visited J A Manafaru and were absolutely blown away by the whole experience. The whole island is absolutely beautiful. We had a beach villa which suited us perfectly. We have always had overwater villas in the past in the Maldives but have decided now that we actually prefer beach villas if J A Manafaru is anything to go by. We had the biggest, widest, white sand beach right at the edge of our villa and it was the most amazing sight to wake up to in the mornings The best part though of J A is the staff. Every single one of them seems happy to be there and working. The daily smiles and greetings are obviously genuine and really good to see. Everyone takes such pride in their work, the entire staff and every one was so friendly each time we passed them. We have to single out though our butler Nuhad who was amazing, kept in contact daily but left us to our own devices once he realised that we didn't need or want to be organised. However was always at the end of a WhatsApp call if we needed him for anything. Also some of our waiters, although all were great, but especially Hassan, Rishah, Ibbe, Pranita, Rosa and also our room cleaner Suzeen who was fantastic. Apart from the room being immaculate each day, our sun beds on the beach and around our pool were set up daily with fresh towels and he made the most amazing towel animals. Absolutely beautiful skill. The restaurants are all excellent as well. Breakfast was daily in Kakuni and there was not one thing that we wanted that was not on the buffet or in the a la carte menu. Such beautiful fresh fruit and the most gorgeous pastries! Anything we wanted I'm sure we could have had. Lunch for us was either in Kakuni or at Andiamo, which has to be the most beautiful lunch setting ever! Fantastic food, especially the ice creams! We loved spending a couple of hours after lunch lazing around Andiamo's pool with a couple of cocktails. Amazing staff there all the time. Dinner was if not an organised theme night, at either White Orchid or Ocean Grill, the last being our absolute favourite. To sit right on a beautiful white sand beach under secluded lights and enjoy amazing seafood was everything we wanted. Absolutely amazing food and wines. There were also 3 theme nights while we were there; sustainable seafood, Asian and Maldivian nights. All three provided us with so much food it was ridiculous. Possibly our own complaint (not really complaint, more a suggestion) would be to have the seafood and Asian nights as buffets to reduce waste. We left quite a bit ourselves and I'm sure everyone else was the same! I completely understand the Maldivian night being as it was as it was served in the traditional way so a buffet that night would take away the magic. The wait staff were amazing that night especially, telling us about all their traditions etc which made the night even more enjoyable. We also loved the way the management team including our favourite executive chef visited each table each night asking how everyone enjoyed their meals etc and whether we had any suggestions for improvement. All in all we absolutely loved everything about J A Manafaru on our 8 night stay and would not have changed one thing. We are already seriously looking at a return visit hopefully next year. Our stay at JA Manafaru was truly fantastic, a highlight of our trip to the Maldives. From the moment we landed in Malé, the journey to the resort was seamless. We were pleasantly surprised and thankful for the complimentary upgrade to the seaplane for our transfer—it was incredibly convenient and a great start to the holiday. The entire transfer process was very smooth and effortless. Despite having some poor weather reported in Malé during our stay, the weather on JA Manafaru in the northern atoll was perfect; we enjoyed plenty of sunshine with no rain! The dining experience was another major plus. The resort has many restaurants, and we found that most of the food options catered well to our palate, especially as Chinese travelers. The Maldivian Night and the Seafood BBQ were particularly memorable and highly recommended. The accommodations were excellent; the Beach Villa is absolutely worth staying in! A massive shout-out to our excellent butler, Rizaam. He was wonderful, managing our bookings, making excellent recommendations, and even effortlessly handling cancellations when needed. He was always friendly, very nice, and ensured our comfort by providing prompt transfers via the club car. We highly recommend JA Manafaru for a truly relaxing and luxurious escape.

We had a wonderful time here. Everyone was so friendly. The island is beautiful, and the food was so delicious. And A big thank you to our butler-Mohamed He was so nice, polite, and kind, and he always made sure everything was perfect. Special thanks to his nicely service.

The whole journey is just like a dream, spectacular experience with picturing views, tasty food, and friendly kind staffs. Our host Rizaam(张飞) is good at communication, always ready to help us solve problems and make our experience better. All staffs are responsible and nice, especially Imran, he show us a magic trick when we have dinner in White Orchid. And the staff in Andiamo is nice too, we love the food there, the pizza and chicken and every dishes.The villa is well-designed with good views and privacy, the glass floor and swimming pool are amazing to enjoy the time.

The scenery is breathtaking, the surroundings are lovely, and the food is surprisingly delicious. All the staff are warm and friendly, providing excellent service. It was an unforgettable experience.
