JA Manafaru

Location is good. We took a seaplane from Male to the resort. TMA, the seaplane operator, has a great lounge. The handover from our Male hotel to the TMA seaplane lounge was taken care of by JA Manafaru, which was so smooth, and the team members were so friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere — after five nights and six days, we came to think of the team members, cleaning and catering teams, lifeguards, and butlers as family. The vibe is purely about relaxation and exploration. We could feel the positive energy immediately. Rooms are great. Some of the furniture is made by them on the island! 🏝️ The rooms were great for both the beach villa and water villa we stayed in. And you can tell you were well taken care of. The rooms were completely cleaned at least twice a day! You can also see team members cleaning the leaves, brushing the sand, etc. Value — we think it is worth every penny. The package is fair and factual. We chose the package that included standard three-course breakfast, lunch, dinner, and beverages. The value for money is great. We were well fed and very full! Even snorkeling twice a day cannot help us digest all the good food! The reef whole fish wrapped with pandan leaves was one of our favorite dishes served at Ocean Grill. Electricity supply is stable, the AC is great, and the WiFi is fast. Bonus — pure magic. 1. My partner and I swam with dolphins and sea turtles while snorkeling 🤿 at the resort jetty. 🐬 2. Their gym has stunning views. 3. We played tennis 🎾. 4. We rode bicycles through the jungle, on sand-covered paths 🌴, to travel from our villa to the jetty and restaurants. 5. The hospitality team treated us well and genuinely cared about us. 6. The butlers were so responsive — a big shout-out to Mohamed and Anvar! And their management team truly listened. Hidden gem — the tour about how electricity is generated and water is purified, the team members’ dormitories, the laundry team, and how their uniforms are made, etc. It showed us the backend of this luxury experience. Knowing how these essential components are made made me cherish my own life back in Australia more and realize what really matters in life. Lawrence & Krista

Best holiday in a long time. Great hospitality and such friendly staff. 2 bed water villa was fabulous. Was able to check in online at seaplane terminal and we went straight to our room on arrival. On departure, checked out in villa and taken straight to seaplane. Very efficient and meant we could use every minute of our time. No need to worry about early check in and late check out, your room is available right away which is perfect after a long journey. Definitely worth the extra time on the seaplane. Smaller hotel meant staff took the time to get to know all the guests. My fussy eater 15 year old loved the food (especially chocolate lava cake🥰)

We truly had the best and most perfect honeymoon at JA Manafaru. Since it was our first time visiting the Maldives, we honestly didn’t know exactly what to expect, but from the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything completely exceeded our expectations. The entire experience was absolutely unforgettable. The resort was beautiful, peaceful, and felt like the perfect place to relax, unwind, and celebrate such a special time in our lives. Every little detail made our honeymoon feel even more special. Our host was incredible and one of the highlights of our stay. They were always so helpful, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were taken care of. We never had to worry about anything because we knew we were in good hands. The level of service and care we received truly made us feel welcomed and looked after throughout our entire stay. We also have to give a huge shoutout to the cleaning team. They were absolutely amazing! We were genuinely surprised by how spotless and well-maintained everything was every single day. The room was cleaned so beautifully every morning and evening, and coming back to such a fresh, clean, and perfectly prepared room was such a wonderful feeling. You could really tell how much effort and pride the team puts into their work. And of course, the food was so delicious! There was such an incredible variety of options, and we were impressed by how much there was to choose from. Our absolute favorite was the breakfast buffet. It literally had everything you could possibly want — fresh fruits, fresh juices, milk, pastries, different types of breads, hot food, and even Chinese cuisine. There was something for everyone, and we looked forward to breakfast every single morning. The quality, variety, and freshness were all amazing. Overall, our experience at JA Manafaru was beyond what we could have imagined for our first trip to the Maldives. From the stunning surroundings and delicious food to the incredible hospitality, thoughtful service, and attention to detail, everything came together to make our honeymoon truly unforgettable. We left with so many beautiful memories and genuinely wished we could have stayed longer. JA Manafaru made our honeymoon even more special than we could have imagined, and we would absolutely love to return one day. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate the beginning of this new chapter together.

Our stay at JA Manafaru was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, cared for, and completely at home. The breathtaking island, turquoise water, beautiful beaches, delicious food, and wonderful atmosphere made our holiday truly unforgettable. A very special thank you to our Butler, Mohamed, whose kindness, warmth, and genuine care made our stay even more beautiful. JA Manafaru is a little piece of paradise, but it is the people who make a place truly special. We are leaving with beautiful memories, full hearts, and the hope of returning one day.
