Jewel in the Crown

I have been to 9 Maldivian Islands since 2011 and this one put simply is the best. The staff are incredible, the service is exceptional, the house reef is beautiful and the pace of life is exquisite. I cannot recommend this island highly enough.

Place worth coming back

The island is so private , not overcrowded with guests and no day trippers. The amenities is world class . From Arrival and departure from Male to the island and on the island itself , you are already taken care of . I did a lot of research on where to stay in Maldives and it came out this is the best place to go and I was proven right .

Exceptional visit to Park Hyatt Hadahaa

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Forth trip the The Maldives, this was the best at the Park Hyatt Hadahaa. We had read a few negative reviews on standard of food & travel to get to the Island. Our experience of the food offered was first class, the travel while long was worth it. The staff on the island are excellent especially our villa host Abi. All facilities are first class, the house reef exceptional & easy to access, with a great variety of sea life to see, even for a less than strong swimmer. Spa experience was also very good & solved what I went for, which was tension in my neck. It is a tranquil resort for those who want to relax, but at the same time be tampered & have an experience of the special place that is The Maldives. There is plenty to be occupied with for anyone who likes to do more. i would say do not worry about the additional travel, it is worth the additional time to get away from the closer islands to Male, Park Hyatt staff took care of all transport arrangements for both the additional flight & boat ride with never a worry that we might get something wrong. We highly recommend this island it is well worth a visit.

Pure Bliss & Maldivian Heaven

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I had the privilege of spending five nights at Park Hyatt Hadahaa after arriving from another resort in the southern part of the atoll, and the moment I stepped onto the island, I was genuinely left speechless. The concept of a “living island” revealed itself instantly — everything looked untouched and perfectly preserved. The sand was pristine, the tropical greenery wrapped each villa in lush privacy, and the house reef was on an entirely different level, bursting with vibrant marine life in every direction. ACCOMMODATION Park Hyatt Hadahaa’s design philosophy became clear the moment we stepped inside our beach villa with pool: understated luxury, natural materials, and a deep respect for the island’s environment. The villa is beautifully styled with clean lines and warm tones - a beautiful design blend of Caribbean colonial and tropical barefoot luxury which blends perfectly for a Maldivian accomodation; featuring a spacious bathroom, an outdoor shower, and all the amenities you’d expect from a true luxury resort. One of the first things that impressed me was actually the bathroom. The micro‑cement finish gave it a sleek, luxurious, almost sculptural feel. It felt like stepping into a private spa every time. The outdoor shower and the beautifully manicured garden surrounding it added an almost regal touch — as if we had the courtyard of a tropical palace at our own disposal. Despite the resort’s age, the villa is impeccably maintained. I tend to notice small details, and everything—from the bathroom fixtures to the furniture—was in perfect condition. No loose fittings, no worn edges, no cracks or chips. The villa's condition is outstanding and represents a clear statement to the management’s commitment to quality. We stayed in BVP 7, where the beach was slightly eroded, requiring us to step down a bit to enter the ocean. This didn’t bother us at all — we still had plenty of space for the sunloungers, and the reef was directly accessible from our stretch of beach, making snorkeling incredibly convenient and one of the true highlights of our stay at Hadahaa. FOOD We were on the Half Board Plus package, which is very generous as it includes the dine-around option, 30% food discounts to all extras (which is basically just paying the direct menu price, w/o the 10% & 17% taxes added) and 15% discount for all alcohol. The breakfast buffet and a la carte menu at the Dining Room was scrumptious: we had the most amazing Salmon Benedict and a fresh pastry selection each day which impressed me to say the least. However, what categorically stood out were the dinners we enjoyed at the Island grill: the tenderloin was cooked to perfection and one of the best I had in my entire life! The food at Hadahaa was beyond excellent and I have to complement the head chef Davide and all the other waiters who ensured an amazing culinary experience for us. STAFF & ACTIVITIES The staff at Hadahaa truly completed our journey and transformed our stay into something unforgettable. I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation and offer a few well‑deserved shoutouts, starting with Avnish and Estii. Avnish, the drinks & beverage manager, checked in with us almost every lunch and dinner, always with genuine care. He crafted some of the most exceptional cocktails we’ve ever had—including my requested Polynesian Pearl Diver, a drink I’ve struggled to perfect at home, yet he mastered it flawlessly on the very first try. His professionalism, creativity, and warmth elevated every dining experience. Estii’s hospitality and kindness were equally remarkable. She guided us through the Island Outpost experience with such sincerity and enthusiasm that she made us feel truly valued. Her presence set a standard of service I know I’ll compare others to in the future. Our housekeeper, Ahmed, deserves special recognition as well. He kept our villa immaculate throughout our stay and did so with a level of politeness and professionalism that left a lasting impression. Frisca made our breakfasts brighter every morning, and Mully took wonderful care of us during dinner. Last but certainly not least, the bar team was exceptional. They went above and beyond by working out a special arrangement for my shisha—using the tobacco I brought from home—and prepared it perfectly every single time. They even served it directly on the beach, which added an extra layer of relaxation and meant more to me than they probably realize. To all the staff who contributed to our stay: thank you. Your dedication, warmth, and genuine hospitality made our time at Hadahaa truly special. We also visited Vidhun Spa, which was an experience in itself—serene, intimate, and deeply relaxing. We chose the Couple Romancing package, and it quickly became one of the most memorable moments of our stay. The therapists were incredibly skilled, the atmosphere was calming from the moment we stepped inside, and the entire treatment felt both grounding and luxurious. Afterward, we enjoyed fresh fruits and champagne under the stars, a peaceful and deeply connecting way to end one of our evenings at Hadahaa. We would have also loved to experience the personalized Blue Ocean journey that Dani designed for us, but the quoted price was a bit steep this time around. It’s definitely something we plan to try on our next visit to Hadahaa, as it sounded truly special and remains firmly on our agenda for the future. One area that could be improved stems from our slightly uneven experience with our butler, Dina. She wasn’t present when we arrived on the island, and throughout our stay she checked in only occasionally. While she was polite and helpful when we did sparsely interact, we didn’t quite establish the same connection we felt with the rest of the team. Given the exceptional service standards across the resort, this stood out a little, but it certainly didn’t overshadow the overall warmth and hospitality we experienced at Park Hyatt. The snorkeling at Hadahaa was truly outstanding and became one of the parts of the trip we enjoyed the most. It was easy, accessible, and full of marine life every single time we went out. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year — and having another sundowner sangria at the Dive Bar there as soon as possible! Sincerely, MIHNEA B

Best place on the planet

We had the most incredible holiday at Park Hyatt Hadahaa, without a doubt the best place we have ever been. From the moment we arrived, the service was unbelievably warm and personalised which really made a huge impact on our stay. A huge thank you to all the amazing staff who made our trip so special, especially Abby and Lemon for being such wonderful hosts, and Avnish, Krishna, and Davide in the restaurants for their amazing attention to detail and checking in on us to ensure we were enjoying the food and atmosphere. This trip was extra meaningful as we celebrated my birthday whilst away, and the team truly went above and beyond. The floating sundowner drinks were absolutely magical and very well executed, alongside the decorations in the room and the spa treatment was hands down the best I have ever experienced, highly recommend the scalp massage! Linda was so attentive and all the spa staff, including the yoga teacher were brilliant! Every single member of the waiting staff was fantastic too, their impeccable service shone from start to finish — Surya, Suneli, Saeed, Murya, Daryl, Solah, and Mully — thank you all for your kindness and service throughout our stay. One of the main highlights was the Turtle Quest excursion, which was simply amazing and a bucket list moment. Our guide Vivi was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, a real asset to the team. We also loved how much there was to do around the island, there was so many activities and always something to do! The natural beauty of the island is so well preserved and there are so many conservation efforts to keep the coral and atol in perfect condition. This place is truly something special, an absolute paradise: 100/10 experience. We are already planning our return next year!
