Wow! We booked a three-night stay here in a Supreme room (the one with the freestanding bath) and it was even better than we expected. On arrival you’re welcomed with a glass of Prosecco while checking in, which is always a nice way to start a stay. Our room overlooked the street and was really light and airy, with plenty of space. The bathroom was huge and the room itself felt very spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable and there’s also a minibar in the room, with prices shown on the tablet. Surprisingly reasonable too… unless you decide you need an entire bottle of brandy! The amenities were great, with a lovely range from L’Occitane, which was a really nice touch. We didn’t have breakfast during our stay, but we did enjoy a drink at the bar one evening which was excellent. The location is also ideal, making it easy to walk into the centre of Hamburg or explore other areas of the city. Overall a fantastic stay. We’d definitely recommend this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

A delightfully characterful hotel with a distinct 1930s flair. Dark floors, warm colours and generously upholstered chairs make you feel as though you’ve accidentally checked into a detective novel. The rooms are stylish, comfortable and pleasantly different from the usual modern glass-and-grey hotel formula. The atmosphere has personality, in a good way, not in a “the wallpaper is judging you” way. Staff were friendly and efficient, without unnecessary drama (always appreciated). The location works well for exploring Hamburg, close enough to everything, yet just far enough away to maintain a certain dignified calm. All in all, a very enjoyable stay. Ideal for anyone who appreciates a bit of vintage charm and a good old whiskey.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Hamburg. We stayed in December for 4 nights and the Christmas Markets were less than a 10 minute walk from our hotel. There were plenty of restaurants and bars surrounding the hotel. The rooms were very modern, clean and well equipped with the essentials. The staff were very friendly and helpful at check-in, the only issue we had during our time here was that our TV didn’t work properly, but this wasn’t a huge issue for us as we weren’t in the hotel room very often to watch TV, but it would have been nice to watch it before bed. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay in Hamburg.

A unique setup and experience with a lot of personal touch, hospitality and comfort. Friendly welcome and check in. The room was nice with many decorative touches and modern with a good control of light and temperature, the bed was conformable. Centrally located in a quit neighbourhood we enjoyed some good nights. Only minor setback was the disorganised breakfast setup. Tables were not cleared service of the hot selections was offered randomly. The bread selections was subpar for a hotel with this standard
