The two of us had a fantastic stay at Capella Hanoi, where we spent the first three nights of our Vietnam tour. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The service felt thoughtful and personal without ever being over the top. We stayed in a suite, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The opera-inspired style gives the hotel a lot of character, and our suite had everything we needed to relax after a day out in the city. Housekeeping also did an excellent job—our room was always spotless and refreshed perfectly each day, often while we were out, without us ever needing to ask. We really enjoyed the food and drinks at Backstage and Diva’s Lounge—both were great spots to unwind. Breakfast each morning was also a highlight, with plenty of delicious options. We also had a massage at Auriga Spa, which was set in a beautiful, calming space and added another relaxing highlight to the trip. A lovely bonus was the complimentary cocktail and canapé hour included with our stay. It was a great way to relax in the evening and felt like a thoughtful extra touch. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake, but the hotel itself feels peaceful and tucked away from the busy streets. Overall, Capella Hanoi is a wonderful place to stay if you want comfort, great service, and a memorable start to a trip in Vietnam. We’d happily stay here again.

A great hotel in the old French quarter. Quiet rooms, elegantly furnished. Beds were comfortable and the bed linen was extremely soft! Only had breakfast in the hotel but this was very good with a choice of items to order freshly cooked. Excellent coffee. Would stay here again.
