Capella Hanoi

We booked this hotel on the basis of how beautiful it looked on the website. Booked through the GHA app. From the moment we arrived our GHA membership was immediately acknowledged and our rom upgraded. ( other hotels take note ). The Bill Bensley designed decor is spectacular. There was individual and witty touches everywhere. Staff were friendly. Our only gripe was Happy Hour service was a bit slow as our stay progressed. I was left sitting alone with no service for a while. But honestly we cannot let this detract from our overall impression of this gorgeous hotel. Management is very obviously on point here. We came away delighted that we had booked this as a start of our holiday in Vietnam. We would definitely go back. Highly recommend.

Great stay at this luxurious hotel. Decor are tastefully designed by Bill Bensley inspired by arts in the 1920s. Staff are awesome and service top-notched!

After a long travel day, arriving at Capella Hotel in Hanoi was like a warm hug. Service is incredible, design is innovative and enjoyable, special social events like afternoon tea at 3 pm and champagne and musical entertainment at 5:30 pm are included events. We enjoyed our uniquely decorated room and a Michelin rated dinner. A wonderful home base after day excursions to explore the area. Hanoi is a vibrant city and Capella HoTel is at its lively center.

The hotel is beautifully decorated with the theme of an opera house from the twenties. To make our stay unforgettable, I would commend the outstanding service provided by the team. Notably, Nghia at The Living Room, delivered exceptional hospitality. When we mentioned that the coffee tasted a little too strong, he immediately offered to replace it with a decaf option. What impressed us even more was that he later returned to check if the new drink was to our liking. His thoughtfulness and attentiveness truly elevated our experience. Additionally, Anh made a wonderful impression during our dinner at The Backstage restaurant. Her warm and pleasant service added to the enjoyment of our meal and we felt very well taken care of throughout the evening. Both Nghia and Anh showcased service standards that went above and beyond. We deeply appreciate their professionalism, friendliness and genuine care.

Great hotel, great location and exceptional staff and service. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.
