This was our honeymoon, and honestly the hotel staff specially (Nguyen huu Tan) Was extremely professional and helpful the hospitality he provided was outstanding, from a pilot point of view that i have been all over the world, but nothing like this place and the staff

My biggest complaint is the Bed is old hard leans to one side so you feel like your going to roll out of bed. This is not a 5 star bed more like motel 6. They doubled two comforters to add bed pading but it didn't help they need to replace with a good quality bed especially since one night at this place is 1/2 a month salary for the average local. I stayed here for 7 nights. The grounds are beautiful The breakfast buffet is good quality The neighborhood is nice if you stay on the main street. I didn't really take advantage of all they had to offer if you do your research maybe it's worth it if you dont care about the bed

From the very first moment, our check-in experience was truly impressive — thoughtful touches and heartfelt gifts made us feel instantly special. We spent the evening like true Hanoians: enjoying Tràng Tiền ice cream, then cycling gently around the Old Quarter — such a charming way to feel the soul of the city. Dinner at Le Club Bar was exceptional. Both the steak and the salmon were perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and flawless, creating a warm and elegant dining experience. The next morning, breakfast was another highlight — a delightful combination of Western favorites and traditional Vietnamese dishes. I especially loved the takeaway bread corner they thoughtfully set up for guests in a hurry. It’s a small detail, but it shows great care and understanding of guests’ needs. Everything during our stay was seamless, heartfelt, and memorable. Special thanks to Tyson, who made this entire experience possible and truly unforgettable.

This is a timeless property and the service is excellent. The dedication and sincerity by the various teams is worth a return stay. The Majordome service by Mikey, Hugh, Steven, Mr. Kha (Supervisor Marjodome) and Mr. Phong (Head Marjodome) is world-class. From running a serenity bath to providing information about the vicinity, great attention is paid to detail and preference. Club Metropole staff are approachable and they serve the best drinks. Minh and Linh are always on hand to explain about the variety of wines and cocktails. Le Club bar serves great afternoon tea and the service by Tuan and Mr. Kevin (Assistant F&B Director) is simply impeccable. Certainly, the hotel is well managed by Mr. George (GM) and Mr. Quan (Assistant FOM), who make a conscious effort to check in on guest comfort and satisfaction. The only downside would be how some guests do not observe the required etiquette whilst patronising the establishments.
