I have visited Cuba before and loved it. My travel agent originally quoted a hotel across the square which I had stayed at on my last visit. I requested a re-quote for this hotel and I’m so glad I did. This building is a mix of old architecture with touches of new additions which all works well together. Staff very helpful and can’t do enough for you. Meals adequate. A plentiful selection of food. Havana has changed a lot since my last visit but has not lost any of its charm. Lots to see and do and well worth visiting if only to see the old buildings. Please try a tour in a classic car. The only downside to staying here (which is generic in Havana wherever you stay) are the people hanging around outside offering to help for a charge or begging. I understand Cuba is a poor country and I will always try to help but it becomes a repetitive process to say no. Especially when the same people keep coming back. If like me you want to help these communities, take colouring books & colouring pens, Notebook &pens, Old items of clothing, travel size toiletries and sweets. These are items the locals find hard to come by and they are appreciative of what we take for granted.

Good Hotel facilities i.e, the Pool area on the Roof and location but with Staff on 'the make' Pretending Card machines are faulty when you purchase food and beverages, so that they can pocket the Cash. Staff trying to do deals outside of the Hotel Here for 3 nights with no Hot water in the Room(527),all of the duration. Cold showers, annoying. As soon as you step outside of the Hotel ,you will be hassled.Desperate people wanting your Dollars,trying to get, which ever way they can. Food is hit and miss.Mostly miss.Would commend the Breakfast buffet but poor quality food and cooking outside of that.

I have visited this hotel several times but the first time I'm writing a review. The service is consistently good with all the concierges being very, very capable in helping at any time with any questions or concerns that I had. Lazaro stands out, always greeting me with a big smile and extremely helpful and friendly. I thought about this team when I visited a different hotel and although the staff were all very friendly and helpful, it just made me realize more, how much this team here is very polished at what they do. I often forget things when checking out. And most recent visit was no exception.But when I came back and spoke with the chamber lady, she had safely kept my glasses case for me. Ferran at the breakfast buffet always provided a very warm welcome to everyone entering. The buffet itself is vast with lots of options and I enjoyed so much that I never had to eat lunch because breakfast kept me powered and energized through the day.. Ghendry at the pool was also very friendly and welcoming, the rooftop pool is a great place to escape the heat of the city in the afternoons. I would happily stay here again whenever the opportunity arises in the future.

Great location. Rooms and bathrooms were decent. Toilet paper in short supply! Pool and restaurant were just lovely. Great cocktails. Live music all day. Great service. Air conditioned in the right places.

We returned to the Parque Central, our favourite hotel in Havana - the central locations, so easy to walk into the old town, the excellent roof terrace with views over the city, and the superb staff. The hotel has altered little over the past 20 years, and the rooms in the colonial side still have that old world charm, that makes it a firm favourite. All staff in the restaurant offered good service, loved the lady on the egg station, and a special thank out to Antolina in the bar, always arriving at just the right moment to take the drinks or food order, and returning during the evening, discreetly, to ensure we were OK. A real asset, polite and interested in the customer and able to talk about the city and offer pointers for the next day. An excellent hotel, staff, accommodation and all round favourite right in the centre of old Havana
