Cada vez que por trabajo o por motivos de salud tenemos que viajar a La Habana, el Meliá Cohiba termina siendo siempre nuestro lugar de referencia. Con el tiempo se ha ido convirtiendo en algo muy parecido a una segunda casa, de esos sitios a los que uno llega con la tranquilidad de saber que será bien recibido. Más allá de la ubicación o de las instalaciones, lo que realmente hace especial a este hotel es su gente. La atención, la amabilidad y la forma en que el personal se preocupa por los detalles hacen que la experiencia sea siempre agradable. Quisiera mencionar especialmente a Nibia, la Jefa de Calidad. La conocimos a raíz de un pequeño inconveniente durante una de nuestras estancias. Sin embargo, lejos de quedarse en un problema, Nibia se encargó de escucharnos, atendernos con mucha profesionalidad y resolver la situación de una forma tan natural que terminó por borrar completamente ese mal momento. Tiene una cualidad que no es fácil de encontrar: la capacidad de convertir una inconformidad en una sonrisa. Siempre dispuesta a ayudar, a buscar soluciones y a hacer un poco más de lo esperado para que el cliente se sienta bien atendido. Detalles y personas como ella son los que hacen que uno quiera regresar. Nuestro agradecimiento para Nibia y para todo el equipo del Meliá Cohiba por la dedicación con la que trabajan cada día. Whenever work or health reasons bring us to Havana, Meliá Cohiba inevitably becomes our place to stay. Over time it has started to feel like something very close to a second home — one of those places where you arrive knowing you will be genuinely welcomed. Beyond the location or the facilities, what truly makes this hotel special is its people. The care, kindness, and attention to detail from the staff consistently make every stay a pleasant one. I would especially like to mention Nibia, the Head of Quality. We actually met her after a small inconvenience during one of our stays. However, instead of remaining a negative moment, Nibia took the time to listen, treated the situation with great professionalism, and resolved everything in such a natural and thoughtful way that the issue simply faded from our minds. She has a quality that is not easy to find: the ability to turn dissatisfaction into a smile. She is always willing to help, look for solutions, and go a little further than expected to make sure guests feel truly cared for. People and moments like these are what make you want to return. Our sincere thanks to Nibia and to the entire team at Meliá Cohiba for the dedication they show every day.

The Melia Cohiba is a shining star in the firmament of Melia! From arrival until the last day, excellence was the order word. The valet parking service, the cleaning of the room, the girls of "The Level" and the service in the buffet on the 20th floor are signs not only of good performance, but also of exceptional customer service. Whenever I stay at the Meliá Cohiba, I feel like I'm arriving somewhere special. It's like being at home, but better. The rooms are spacious, modern, and have spectacular views of the Malecón. The buffet is a true gastronomic gem, with Lisset's friendly service. There's also the pool, the gym, the Med restaurant with its incredible dishes, and the warmth and friendliness of the staff, like Ernesto. It's a hotel with years of history in the city, and it shows in its offerings, its services, and especially its staff. Special thanks to the sales team, Ramiro and Dayana, for their guidance, suggestions, and excellent management. I'll be back because the hotel deserves it.
