Melia Cohiba

I had an overall pleasant stay at the hotel. My experience with the amenities offered were only of the pool and the breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet was good and service people were attentive. The two pools are very large and one can get an adequate workout swimming laps. My room was on a corner which afforded a view of the ocean and the pool. It was quite large.

This is my third visit to Cuba, my second stay at the Melia Cohiba Hotel, what a beautiful and welcoming hotel 🙂 The location of this hotel is perfect for visiting the old town which is just a 15 minute drive away My visit this month was for business meaning that i needed to travel solo, something i don't do often, i felt anxious traveling my myself, especially taking into account the present situation in Cuba. I can honestly say that from the moment i walked into the hotel, i was greated with the warmest welcome i have been truely taken care of and made to feel " at home". My room was located at " The level" floor of the hotel. I cannot fault a thing here, i was warmly greeted by Estela who ensured i had everything i needed for my stay. The receptionists have been so kind, nothing has been too much trouble, Jeidy especially checked in with me to ensure i was feeling ok and helped me with organising my plans to visit local offices and my flights home again, over and above what i could ever have wished for, Thank you Jeidy! 😊 My room was spotlessly clean and the room maid Maricel is such a lovely lady, greeting me with a lovely smile everyday. The resturant staff at the level are amazing, very attentative and again welcoming me every day with the warmest welcome, they always had time for a chat which made me feel so comfortable. I would like to metion Mara, Yuniel, Diley and Andy, and thank them for their kindness and smiles xxxx

We were a large group of 15 that came to Melia Cohiba from Canada in January 2026. All the staff were so accommodating and made our stay so nice. A special shoutout to management for the warm welcome and Enrique at the Concierge desk who was sooo helpful in assisting us in booking our excursions and activities and arranging taxis for our large group. Thanks so much!!

Fourth time staying here. The rooms are great and spacious like always and the staff do their best to make sure you are enjoying the stay. Special thanks to Rocio for the attention she gave us. The shows sometimes spill water onto the floors but that’s about it.

Melia cohiba was a lovely hotel. The ocean facing rooms had a pretty view and were very spacious and very clean. My favorite part was the staff…so friendly and professional; Enrique the concierge was especially helpful! There are also small shops in the lobby offering a variety of items. Thanks for a nice stay
