A beautiful and calming location, elegant accomodation, with first class food and service. Tasting menus were outstanding wirh amazing selection of Kiwi wines. Would highly recommend!

A fabulous spot in a delightful area, excellent staff and a desire to look after guests that is exceptionally rare. From the moment we arrived, very late thanks to issues with the ferry, nothing was too much trouble.

THE place to stay in Hawke’s Bay. A beautiful old house with a long driveway leading to it, surrounded by gardens, fields and a pool/spa. The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated. The food was delicious with superb service, however the things that made it extra special were the attention to detail and the friendliness of the staff. We will definitely come again.

While in Hawkes Bay for a family wedding my husband and I chose to stay at Mangapapa Lodge. Its a beautiful property, set in peaceful surroundings, the rooms are quiet luxury. Bathroom amenities, fabulous coffee from Hawthorne Roasters and fresh baked chocolate chip cookie's just a couple of little treats that add to your enjoyment. This is an elegant place and the service from the staff is next level. The dinner we ate at the Lodge was very good. No detail is overlooked. I would recommend Mangapapa Lodge for a special occasion stay or just to spoil yourself. 5 stars from me.

Great experience at this property. Hitomi, the property manager seemed to always be present and very supportive and helpful during our stay. The staff overall were friendly and responsive and the breakfasts were delicious. We also had dinner one night in their restaurant and it was exceptional. Our room (Orchard) was spotless, comfortable and well-equipped. Very solid choice in the Havelock North area and I'm so glad we chose this property over the Rosewood.
