Hotel Ranga

First night last night, Was absolutely brilliant ! So enjoyable and warm !! Great staff, great bar, owner/manager was a delight. Even saw the lights on the first night. Spend the money and enjoy it Nick (room 29) Cheers

Wow this hotel is incredible! The best and most friendly staff we have ever come across. We had 2 lovely nights here. The restaurant is top notch in service and attentiveness. We only had to walk right out the front door to see the Northern Lights. They ring your room when they appear and provide snowsuits too. We highly recommend staying here!

We chose Hotel Ranga for its dark sky location. We were greeted with the warmest of welcomes, great service, comfort and lovely food which will live in the memory for as long as sight of the Northern Lights.

Getting married with the help of Hotel Ranga was such a great experience. Their wedding coordinator, Majken, was always quick in email responses in the planning and lead up to our stay with them and organised everything from the wedding location (Gluggafoss), to the rooms, and a couple of external excursions! Nothing was too much trouble. We choose a wedding package that was a close match to what we wanted and then customised it to suit our individual needs. We even had our wedding dinner in the Caves of Hella! Highly recommend if you want a dinner you wont forget! Once at the Hotel, all the staff were happy, polite and there to help - even at 3am when warm milk was ordered through room service for our toddler! I cannot recommend this whole experience enough - it was made easy by the Team at Hotel Ranga, and Iceland did the rest with spectacular scenery, Northern Lights and snow!

From check in to check out this location exceeded our expectations. Anywhere where you see the owner bussing tables and then sitting with guests to see how their stay is going will forever be a place you want to stay.
