We stayed at four other hotels in Iceland and Ranga was by far our favorite. Great location, wonderful comfortable room and bed, best black out shades (a must and not so great at most places) lovely spaces to relax and hang out, fabulous restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend you stay here!

Great place to stay while traveling the southern coast of Iceland. We stopped at Hotel Ranga after we explored the Golden Circle and spent two nights. Rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel staff was friendly and the restaurant was top notch. Oh and the breakfast buffet was excellent. This was a great location for exploring the southern coast of Iceland as it is close to the Westmann Islands very as well as some great natural attractions. Would highly recommend staying here.

I visited Iceland and this was my favorite stay. The hotel Ranga was picturesque, the staff and service wonderful. The attention to detail is unmatched. If I ever visit Iceland again, this is where I will be! FYI I began at Edition in Reykjavík and also stayed at Fossglacier hotel….. this was by far a perfect Icelandic spot!
