This hotel is very well located near transit on trams or the metro. It makes this location super convenient. The larger rooms are renovated well and have space and bath amenities that are hard to find in Europe. There are better decorated hotels in Helsinki but this one hits a great balance of space, amenities and super friendly and helpful staff.

Clean, great location, comfortable beds, good breakfast, nice bar. Nice staff. We were visiting our daughter who lives in Helsinki and it was perfect for our stay. Will stay here again next time.

Very comfortable hotel central and walking distance to the main attractions. A suoermarket is near by to stock up on water and snacks. Meteo, tram and busses only 2 min walk! (Bus 600 from/to the airport) Quiet if you have a room at the back. The digging work was still but it did not affect my stay. The rooms have great blackout blind for a comfortable night and the bed ate so coay. The sauna was good and not busy. There is a small pool at the too which is great for families. The restaurant’s food was good too. Overall a great 5 nights stay.

Neither the Hilton App nor the hotel itself warned us when we parted with €1000 for a 4 night stay that there was harbour building work right outside the hotel. Having paid extra for an upgraded room with a sea view, all we actually saw was a construction site next to the water. On week day morning we were woken a 6am by enormous bangs as the builders dropped rocks into the back of a lorry. Obviously this ruined what should have been a relaxing holiday visit to Helsinki. The hotel have responded to my feed back with just a “sorry” which to me represents the actual care and probably why this intrusive building is never mentioned anywhere. Bedding should have been changed every 3 days too but wasn’t. Upon arrival in the room there were no spoons/stirrers, a dirty used mug left on the side, conditioner bottle empty in the bathroom. Anyone planning to go here soon needs to avoid until the building work on the harbour is complete as the very early noise is unacceptable and just a shame Hilton won’t advise you of it.

Avoid this hotel whilst there are works in the dock. The hotel did not warn us. Certainly don’t book a “Sea View” room. The digger below your window (before 07.00 AM) Monday to Friday will destroy your sleep. Response from hotel “oh it’s so they can have a nice weekend”. During the day the noise of the digger dredging the dock will be continually with you over the “sea” view. The air con does not work. The WiFi is unreliable. The hotel looks tired and needs a thorough renovation throughout. The waiter serving cocktails did not understand the requests and had to be helped by a colleague. All these were raised with the hotel - during - on leaving - responding to request for feedback after arriving home - so will not be new feedback for them. But expect the “the City did not warn us about the works” repeat response. They could have: warned in advance / moved our room / offered a service / considered any other option available to them at their wish. Nothing. Nada. Not interested. “Thanks for letting us know”. So consumers: you decide.
