This was a great hotel - we turned up very early (after 24 hours of travelling from Australia) and were lucky enough to have access to our room early, at a cheap per-additional-hour rate. The staff were friendly, helpful and the room was great too. Location was an easy walk to the main sights and I would recommend this as a wonderful place to stay. There was a supermarket close too, for stocking up on snacks, which is always helpful!

I travelled to Helsinki for work and stayed at Hilton Strand. The room was clean and comfortable, good Wi-Fi connection in the hotel. The staff were friendly and provided necessary assistance. The breakfast offering was great too including the drinks in the Executive lounge. Wonderful stay, thank you.

We stayed on three separate occasions and each time, I received commonplace benefits as a Hilton Honors Diamond member: Executive Lounge access and complimentary breakfast. Pre-stay emails were answered promptly as usual. Each time we were allocated rooms with sea views as requested. On our last stay we were given a King room on the fifth floor. I was told that it was the only room type available, as they were fully booked. Checking online, however, I found that there were in fact some suites up for grabs. The room was of average size with a medium sized television and a sofa bed which was not needed and faced away from the view. The bathroom had the old shower/bath combo. The Executive Lounge is of standard size. In the evening, from 18:00 until 20:00 there is an unexceptional supply of canapes and a horribly limited choice of red and white wine, spirits and beer. During the day there are hardly any snacks. Breakfast in the restaurant was okay but nothing to write home about. The location isn't bad if you enjoy having a look-see by foot. Central Station is about a fifteen minute walk away. All things considered: it’s not good value for money.

Excellent one night stay for our anniversary, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome and celebrated. So much so that we have booked back in to this hotel to stay two more nights before leaving Finland next week! Looking forward to being back.

We have just returned from 3 nights at the hotel. We had a King room on the executive floor with a water view room. The rooms was modern and a good size. We would have preferred a walk in shower but apart from that everything was very good and quiet at night. Breakfast is of a high quality with lots of different options to suit all tastes. We had drinks nightly in the large and modern bar area. Great selection of beers and wine. Darren was great and friendly at the bar. Service throughout from check in to the bar and restaurant was excellent. Location overlooking water is very nice and an easy 10 mins walk to Senate square and 10 mins to Helsinki station. Hakaniemi Market Hall is just a few mins behind the hotel.
