Hotel St. George

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay @ the Hotel St George last October. I arrived rather late in the evening but nonetheless was warmly greeted and efficiently checked-in by Woorim. He had also left a nice Welcome gift in my hotel room. Thank you again, Woorim. In terms of the hotel's location, it is a 15 m-walk from the train station and ideally situated to visit the main sites of interest in Helsinki--whether eventually either by foot, tram, bike, car or boat. And directly across the street is Vanha Kirrkopuisto (i.e., Old Church Park), which is a nice park to sit and watch the day go by. The hotel has a wonderful art collection on display throughout the hotel and it has all the usual amenities that you would expect, including a spa, which is adjacent to the hotel. My room overlooked the park and it was well-maintained and quiet. I really appreciated the heated floor in the bathroom given the time of year that I visited. The cleaning staff did an excellent job maintaining my room during my stay. I booked my breakfast with my reservation and the breakfast was excellent. Also, at breakfast I could tell the broad appeal of the hotel given the mix of single vacation travellers, business travellers, couples, and families. Note: For Marriott Bonvoy members, you do not receive breakfast as part of your stay unless you add it to your reservation. Points are offered in lieu though. Overall, I was very happy with my stay at the Hotel St George. So much so, that I will be visiting again in April. Looking forward to it!

Very spacious very clean staff friendly and amenities are excellent. Food is also commendable. Will recommend it to my friends visiting this side of the world.

The best hotel ever (and I have been in many all over the world). Everything goes always so smoothly! The spa is awsome! Rooms are carefully designed and all the little things well tought of! You must visit the Wintergarden and experience the unique athmosphere and exeptional beautiful space! Breakfast is so delicious and I can not understand how they manage to do everything so tasty! I am a fan of this hotel and I have been there several times and will hopefully visit many more in future! :)

The place is so amazing, the reception give us the upgraded room with bathtubs. Breakfasts is one of the best in Helsinki specifically the porridge, one of a kind 😊❤️ the service is great, the chef’s are amazing, I love the omelette,everything is awesome. Definitely will come back again.

The place is gorgeous and looks like something straight off Pinterest, but it’s actually super chill. The staff are so nice and genuinely helpful, and the food came out way faster than I expected. Seriously, between the fresh sourdough and the cozy atmosphere, I’m obsessed. 10/10 would recommend if you want a fancy-ish breakfast without the long wait!!
