One&Only Portonovi

So, this hotel seems to be trying to deliver the "Guest as God" experience that you get at higher end hotels particularly in the Middle East and Asia and they do a fairly good job at it. Drink upon arrival, escort to the room, turn down service and over the top concentration on the wants and needs of the guest. In our case, we were given an upgraded room. It was spacious, quiet, comfortable with a great view and the AC was not limited on the low side. Staff is about as helpful as they can be and they salute you as you pass by with a hand to their heart. The only place they fall a little short in the "Guest as God" experience is that this still feels forced/required and not natural and unprompted. And no one will remember you personally post check-in. The only real drawback with this hotel (which sits on beautiful grounds) is the location. Outside of the hotel itself, there are limited options for dining and shopping unlike a place like Tivat. But that being said, this is a fantastic hotel and you get your money's worth. Particularly if that kind of service matters to you and you don't mind being a bit hotel locked.

Loved this hotel! We were a group of four couples and stayed three nights. We were picked up at the Dubrovnik airport in 2 sprinter vans and were able to spread out comfortably for the hour or so drive to the resort. During our stay we enjoyed on site dining at all three restaurants and a day at the beach and the adult pool. We also were able to spend a day on the water seeing the beautiful surroundings, all arranged through our hotel. Accommodations were clean and staff was helpful and friendly. I’d recommend this hotel in a heartbeat, especially in late September (offseason, so less crowded, but the weather was still amazing).

We had an amazing stay at the one & only. The room had fantastic views of the bay, and the service was great. Anja and Iva were our hosts and helped us with anything we needed during the stay. Only a short walk to the Marina where you have more good restaurants to choose from on top of the hotel. Would recommend a stay

The One & Only Portonovi is an amazing hotel. The hotel is immaculate, but, more importantly, the staff are exceptional. We were treated as if we were the only guests in the hotel. The beach and pools are fantastic. The food (like most Montenegrin food) is wonderful. I can not recommend this property much higher.
