great location fantastic staff but you could find it expensive for South Africa Im guessing most people will stay 2-5 nights only in which case the menu should be sufficient

A piece of heaven
The hotel is absolutely charming. Spotlessly clean. Superb food quality and flawless staff. We travel extensively but this hotel deserves the ultimate accolade for its genuine endeavours to satisfy its guests.

A delightful hotel in the best location with superior service
This was a fantastic experience in all respects. The group dinner was excellent, the service was super from beginning to end and the location is so good it is hard to describe — so much beauty and many delightful shops and restaurants within steps — although not in whale season we saw some anyway and that was exciting — Hermanus and the Marine Hotel are not to be Missed !

Conference with a view
The Marine Hotel is always a treat whether it be for business or leisure. Amazing views, delicious food, attentive and friendly staff. No visit to Hermanus is complete without a brunch, lunch or stay at The Marine Hotel.

Beautiful location
Hotel was clean and in a great spot. Our location was not good right next to bar and restaurant and service closet. Constant loud noise so avoid room. Number 100!!! I do feel The other rooms would have been great it was just the location of the room we had which was quite unfortunate!!
