Beautiful location
Excellent Hotel with perfect service. Excellent food at the restaurant, large, well appointed rooms in a traditional atmosphere and decoration.

A fabulous hotel with exceptional staff
Situated in a very good position overlooking the bay. A boutique hotel, with lovely public rooms and a restaurant with view across the bay. We were lucky to be upgraded to a premium deluxe room, thank you. It was lovely, overlooking the bay, and we even saw whales, which was a bonus. The room had a raised sitting area and a very large bathroom, once again everything was provided. The staff greeted everyone with a smile. Oswell in the restaurant was extremely polite and very attentive. The food served was exceptional, hot plates - that says it all. We had room 212, if you can afford a sea view room go for it. We were only sorry that we stayed one night here, we could have stayed much longer. I wouldn't have any problem in recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Hermanus.

Wonderfully situated
The hotel was very comfortable and situated on the top of the cliff opposite the bay so it was a wonderful situation to view the whales. We had a bedroom and sitting room opposite the bay which was lovely. The food was very good. The breakfast had a good range of options to suits all tastes. We also had dinner there one evening which was very worthwhile. The staff were charming and helpful.

Absolutely perfect stay
What a fabulous hotel. Melissa and her team deliver superb service and the location is stunning. Our sea view suite was incredible and the food in the restaurant delicious both for breakfast and dinner. A fantastic end to our trip and we could have stayed for ever. We will recommend to all our friends and will certainly come back. We really enjoyed the cliff path walks and also a great boat trip out of Gansbaai where the marine big 5 are flourishing! Southern Right whale and calf spotted. Dyer Island penguins being supported by Marine Dynamics. Also saw Bryce’s whale spouts from our veranda at the hotel. If you want somewhere special to stay this is the place. Totally exceptional in every way. Hermanus itself is a gem too.

The location of hotel is exceptional. The rooms were pure luxury. Breakfast was a kings feast. The staff was exceptional helpful n go an extra mile
