The Marine

We had a wonderful stay at The Marine Hotel in Hermanus. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a luxurious home from home. The décor is absolutely beautiful, creating such a warm and homely atmosphere, while the breathtaking ocean views make it even more special. The food was delicious throughout our stay, and what really made the experience exceptional was the staff. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and genuinely helpful. Brian was fantastic, and the ladies on reception were equally amazing, always going above and beyond with a smile. We wouldn't hesitate to return and would highly recommend The Marine Hotel to anyone looking for luxury, comfort and outstanding hospitality. We can't wait to come back!

The Marine is brilliantly located with stunning views and friendly staff. The breakfast was fantastic and the rooms are quiet and have all the expected amenities.

The staff and property were outstanding. Everyone was so nice, happy, and aimed to please (and did so). Great location to boot. We really enjoyed the dinner we ate there and the breakfasts. This was an exceptionally clean hotel. The hotel rooms have all been recently remodeled and it seems like a brand new building.

The Marine Hotel is in a wonderful location and has recently undergone impressive renovations. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and exceptionally clean. The on-site restaurant was also a highlight—the staff were attentive, the food was well presented, and everything was delicious. The porter team was particularly helpful and added to the welcoming experience. A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting.
