Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island

Ben is the best company in the mornings for breakfast. The staff is superior to all the other hotels in the area. We have consistently been coming back to Sonesta for 5 years now.

Everything was great. Enjoyed the pool. The rooms are well appointed and clean. Most of the staff was very nice.

What an absolutely lovely resort! From the housekeeping staff, valet, pool attendants and servers, everyone was most welcoming and made me feel at home. We dined in the restaurant a couple times and at the pool bar and the food was spot on and I was surprised the pricing was reasonable. The grounds were kept pristine as the pool area was as well. ABSOLUTELY recommend this hotel for friends, families and single travelers alike!

My husband and I spent five nights at the Sonesta Resort in Hilton Head Island in early September, and we had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Although the hotel is an older property, it is very well maintained. Our room was comfortable, the service was wonderful, and we really enjoyed the overall atmosphere. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of options, including a station where the chef prepares fresh omelets and eggs to your liking. The beach is beautiful and spacious, and we especially enjoyed the adults-only pool area. There were very comfortable loungers for sunbathing, a hot tub, and a great pool — perfect for relaxing. We also rented bikes and enjoyed riding around the island, and we took advantage of the complimentary shuttle to the shopping center, which made for a very nice morning. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would highly recommend the Sonesta Resort for a relaxing Hilton Head getaway. We would definitely return!

Fantastic service from the minute you arrive at the hotel from the concierge/bell staff (Garfield & Eric, great guys) Reception staff were very attentive (a big thanks to Orville) The bar & pool staff were lovely & so helpful (Emily behind the bar at 'Sweet Cane' was great) Hotel has a welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in, great air conditioning! Our room was spacious, clean, great storage & the view from the balcony over the pool area with sea view was lovely and very comfortable! The pool areas are so relaxing with nice music, palm trees, sunbeds in the pool (adult pool) very comfortable sun beds (adult pool area) spacious hot tub was so nice to sit in later in the day. Feeding the turtles was great fun in the fresh water lake in the hotel grounds. Short walk to the beech (a must do in the morning is to head to the beech to watch the sun rise) Overall lovely hotel, great service, lovely grounds and pool areas....When we return to HHI, we will only go back to the Sonesta. A big thanks to Nigel & Michael (senior management team) you run a great hotel & your team are a big asset to you!
