About the Hotel

Embark with Hôtel des Arts Saigon, MGallery on a journey back in time to Vietnam in the 1930s to relive the romance of this bygone era while luxuriating in all the comforts of the 21st century. Combining the classical allure of French Indochina with a sense of timeless chic, the hotel is as much an art museum as a 5-star boutique hotel. The hotel blurs the boundaries between a hotel that is simply a luxurious escape and one that creates a memorable lifestyle experience for its discerning guests.

This Signature sanctuary harmonises French Indochina allure with contemporary finesse. Situated close to the Notre Dame Cathedral, our haven is a tranquil retreat adorned with art. Relish the art deco embellishments in our rooms, indulge in Asian street cuisine at Saigon Kitchen, or rejuvenate at Le Spa des Artistes. Hôtel des Arts Saigon, a meaningful and memorable journey through time.

A Stylish Stay Made Special by the Staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

I had a wonderful four-night stay at Hotel des Arts Saigon – MGallery. My room was absolutely beautiful, with design details that referenced Vietnam’s history while still feeling contemporary and luxurious. I especially loved the moldings on the ceiling and all the thoughtful decorative touches. The modern amenities were excellent, and housekeeping did a wonderful job every day, both making up the room and providing evening turndown service. Everything was absolutely spotless. More than anything, though, the service throughout the hotel was first-class. A special shout-out to Ben, Andrew, and Loc at the concierge desk, who took such good care of me throughout my stay. They helped with restaurant recommendations and reservations, as well as advice about shopping, tours, and spa services, and were always available and responsive, including via WhatsApp. Thanks to their recommendations, I had several wonderful meals and always felt extremely well looked after. The breakfast staff were equally warm and attentive. Michael and Bee were particularly friendly and helpful. Every morning, Michael suggested Vietnamese dishes I should try so that I could experience a more traditional local breakfast. On my final morning, he brought me specially made bánh mì sandwiches and even gave me a full demonstration of how to make Vietnamese salted iced coffee, complete with a thoughtful handwritten card. It was such a lovely gesture — the kind of genuine human connection that goes far beyond professional courtesy and that I’ll remember long after the trip. I also had an exceptional dinner at The Albion on my first night, overlooking the lights of Saigon. Much appreciation to the staff for squeezing me in at a late hour and serving me a world-class dinner with such style and graciousness. After a grueling day of travel, it transformed the evening into a memorable welcome to the city. If you’re looking for a hotel with real boutique character rather than the cookie-cutter feel of a typical international chain, Hotel des Arts is a wonderful address in Saigon. Beautiful rooms, excellent food, and, above all, an exceptional staff. I would happily stay here again.

Amazing hotel and stunning roof bar

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We had a really nice stay - I can highly recommend you book the lounge access rooms as it gives you a good extra - more quiet breakfast and always drinks. Very nice happy hour drinks/food too! The roof bar is amazing and after a long day walking around the perfect finish of the day. Yes there is a construction site, but I have to say - it is a busy city so noisy and constructions are everywhere, the city is growing in a very fast speed and we did not really notice it. For me an experience I would always do again!
